A late friend of mine, who saw Neil perform regularly back in the early 60s, was given great seats to a Diamond show at Madison Square Garden @10 years ago and Neil recognized him from the stage. ...to the total amazement of my late friend, Dr. David Gordon, and his wife Arlene, who also saw Neil at some of his earliest appearances. 45 or so years had come and gone. amazing.

So thankful I was at the first concert in Fresno for the start of his 50th tour and I remember crying and saying I don’t think I’ll see him in concert again. His music is my happy place.

Neil Diamond is a fine classic... I'm sad I never had the opportunity to see him in concert, but I'll continue to enjoy his music (and concert recordings).❤
