I have mixed feelings about the new Metal Sonic fight. He looks cooler, and there's no random spike wall outta nowhere, but its hitbox is clunky, you can rebound easily behind him and into the pit, and the hitboxes on his arms seem to flicker in and out of existence. His attacks are also easy to avoid and very uninspired.

No. I was only aware of the fire shield being able to break them. I never looked into other methods.

I think Ray was meant to be an easy to learn, difficult to master character. Mighty was the easy mode.
