Even Jesus himself was under a serious threat of being Murdered by Herod, yet he was the son of God. If the wisemen spoke back to Herod about where he was, he would have been taken out. So much so that the angel came to Joseph in a dream and told them to move to Egypt until Herod died. And this was all because the wisemen opened their mouths and spoke to Herod about a new born King.
