The few things u can do: 1. Put some aquarium gravel so that they can play with it. 2. Ask your friend what he used to feed it? And feed the same 3. Use a mirror and show its reflection. It will "fight" his reflection. Do this a few minutes and feed it. 4. This is verg weird but the flowerhorn misses its owner. I had this experience and takes about a week.

Every fish has their own behaviour. Give your flowerhorn some time to get settle in new environment. It can take 3-4 days or even a week to get settled in the tank

£ont remove the poop using any net. Infact don't insert anything in the tank. Don't change water for 2 weeks atleast. Your flowerhorn will recover soon

Fish poop laying on the bottom is not good. Use a good filter in your tank that can clean all the poop. After this your fish will not eat his poop 💩
