Wahhhh! 😭😭😭 If it was televoting only, this would have qualified. However, this song is basically the Czech’s Eurovision journey. The first half is their first 3 entires which was bad (last in the semis in ‘07, second to last in ‘08, nil points in ‘09). Then they stopped competing for a while until 2015. Then they don’t think they can’t qualify, there’s hope. 2016: finally qualified. 2017: didn’t qualified but well received. 2018: 6th place. And it all started from this entry! Okay, I’m going all deep about it but I still listen to this from time to time.
Lion hmmm blame Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Montenegro, and Poland? 🤔 I will admit, of those 4, Montenegro deserved to qualify. Cyprus was like Ireland this year... just a pleasant surprise. Azerbaijan is just Azerbaijan despite its hot mess of a staging, while Poland gained sympathy televotes. However, I do love Poland’s backup singers.
Hahaha one of the most iconic moments of ESC 2015 - Marta throwing her shoes. I adore this song, one of the most underrated in ESC. And to me it felt like the point of the song is that they're sad, they can't be together. And suddenly they realize they CAN! "Or we can rise and fight" - Marta throws her shoes - they sang in a lot more powerful way showing that they are more powerful now that they realized they can be together.
That one bit with the shoes and afterwards is part of their personality. If you would watch their interviews, they're the funniest and best people outside the stage, along with the Slovenian couple...
Marta Jandova is awesome. Sadly her talents didn't really come to show in this rather tame and standard Eurovision powerballad. Check out videos of her band Die Happy to see what she's usually up to.
React to Denmark’s entry in 2001: rollo and king - never ever let you go. The biggest Eurovision crowd ever - 35,000 people. They came in second after Estonia.
Jake, you've mentioned minimalist staging a few times. That's one of the things that I loved about 2015. In my opinion, it strikes the perfect balance between staging and focus on the music. A simple LED floor and some spiffy graphics in the background. Unlike the overstaged busy-nes that was 2016.
I LOVE this song, both have an amazing voice and the simple, but dramatic staging fit the song very well. This should be in final, no doubt. One the best that year ❤️
Haha, I was laughing too! Not because of the Jerry Springer thing but because the performance was so strange 😂 I would love to see you react to Germany 2011. Lena, who won in 2010 (an entry I remember you weren't a big fan of), competed once again. But this time with a completely different kind of song that's actually one of my all time favorites. I think you'd like it aswell 😄
Meanwhile, the last 2 were the unluckiest duo in Eurovision history: Iceland and Switzerland. They were the stale bread in Måns’ perfectly cooked filet mignon sandwich.
Justin Angelo Alvarez but Iceland performed right before Måns too. And sadly it was forgotten. That’s why I said both since they were the bread to Måns’ beef.
the shoe throwing wasn't a spur of the moment, in the rehearsals you can see that it was part of the performance. For another strong duet, wait for Estonia, the staging, the song... perfection. Belgium and Estonia were my favourites that year.
I think they should have sung a rockier song since that is what they are best at. I loved their personalities in their interviews. They are so much fun.
I think the reason they didn't qualify was because there was another duet that was much better recieved across Europe. That would be the song from Norway. I still prefer this over Norway though.
She Just doesn't like hight heels :) In The Czech music awards Back in the time, She must wear high heels all evening, and She didn't like it, so She throw them away and walked on the stage barefoot:) She has a perfect personality
Okay tho but now that he is Eurovision proficient when is coming the real peak of Eurovision reaction... you know what I mean... it's about Love Love Peace Peace time
anghara2001 Oooh that makes sense hahaha and here I even scrolled down all of his videos to make sure I haven't missed anything and I am not being an idiot well never mind then.. cursed copyright issues
I remember I kept wishing it were just the guy singing. His tone is so unique and beautiful. Her voice, though good, ruined the song for me. When they harmonized it sounded great. That’s what the song should have been. Him leading and her backing him up.
A better singer after throwing her shoes off, well I can tell you that if the shoes weren't comfortable they may hurt a bit and then sing with them? You could try yourself!!
Can someone explain this shoe moment to me??? Lol))) but seriously- the male singer was really good!!! Can't come up with any reason why it didn't qualify, there were much worse songs competing in the grand final...
Maybe it was a statement... an artistic statement, or a fashion statement.. I don't know, all I can think is "ma che cazz...?!" and "ma perché?!" (Why) 😂😂🙈
Wahhhh! 😭😭😭

The male singer has a beautiful voice.
He name is Vaclav Noid Bárta
And the woman is Marta Jandova from the group Die Happy !
According to the televote it should have qualified!
I don't actually know why the Jurys were so negative about it...
Lion hmmm blame Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Montenegro, and Poland? 🤔 I will admit, of those 4, Montenegro deserved to qualify. Cyprus was like Ireland this year... just a pleasant surprise. I’m excited to watch you react to Estonia’s 2015. I’m in love with the song and I hope you will be too 😂.
I still dont get how they didn't qualify! :( Masterpiece
the stage was mediocre... i think that's why

Tomorrow Never Dies is the Bond movie you are thinking of.
I'm still so bitter they didn't qualify ahha.
Flawless! Deserved to qualify :( ❤️
Marta Jandova is awesome. Sadly her talents didn't really come to show in this rather tame and standard Eurovision powerballad. Check out videos of her band Die Happy to see what she's usually up to.
This deserved to qualify
I remember loving this song and being so sad that they didn't go through
I understand why she took her shoes off. I would've removed all my clothes just by hearing the first notes coming out of his mouth. OMG! 🤣😂
This is the best song for me of 2015, it's my winner ❤
My too 😭❤️
ESC England Same💗💗
React to Serbia 2004 and 2012. Zeljko Joksimovic is singer, second and 3rd place!
I've been waiting for so long for your reaction to this. I know it's ridiculously cheesy, but this was my favourite entry from 2015. I just love it 😍
React to Denmark’s entry in 2001: rollo and king - never ever let you go. The biggest Eurovision crowd ever - 35,000 people. They came in second after Estonia.
They really deserved to win. The song was way much better than the winning one who remains, in my opinion, the worst winning song ever,
biggest crime in 2015 besides Makemakes getting 0 points.

This song was good and they sang great
But what if we all light the candle?
Loved this song!!!

Her throwing her shoes definitely got all the televotes, they would’ve qualified if juries didnt rank them low, 😅
Hi Jake, Instant React to Eurovision 2009 UK: Jade Ewan - It's My Time , thanks man :D
Meanwhile, the last 2 were the unluckiest duo in Eurovision history: Iceland and Switzerland. They were the stale bread in Måns’ perfectly cooked filet mignon sandwich.
Bianca Mullner it's really in my mindset that Switzerland failed to qualify because she's after Mans...
Justin Angelo Alvarez but Iceland performed right before Måns too. And sadly it was forgotten. That’s why I said both since they were the bread to Måns’ beef.
Eurovision 2015 Estonia

Belgium and Estonia were my favourites that year.

Awww theses two should’ve qualified instead of Cyprus. That year was full of ballads.
Maybe you could do, after reacting to all songs, like your top 10 (and bottom 10), or something like that? :)
Should've qualified. Such a great performance and song.
His voice is stunning. Hers is ok too. I didnt think it was great either until the shoes too.
This was my guilty pleasure
I think the reason they didn't qualify was because there was another duet that was much better recieved across Europe. That would be the song from Norway. I still prefer this over Norway though.
It was all worth it for your bursts of laughter...........LOL
Georgia 2013 is also beautiful
You should react to the opening sequence of the 2016 eurovision
Also melodifestivalen 2016 (my favorite year)
Please react to Israel 2013 and Georgia 2007, 2012. Georgia 2012 was hilarious!
she threw her shoe?? what? :-D
Sofia Land It made no sense...and she threw both her shoes...just slammed them down on that led floor.
Jake’s Face Reacts that's part of their personality... they're the best contestants in 2015 outside of the stage.
lol - YEAH, now i saw it - she actually threw them both Haha.. very weird! maybe she just got mad in the middle of the song :D!
She Just doesn't like hight heels :) In The Czech music awards Back in the time, She must wear high heels all evening, and She didn't like it, so She throw them away and walked on the stage barefoot:) She has a perfect personality
Okay tho but now that he is Eurovision proficient when is coming the real peak of Eurovision reaction... you know what I mean... it's about Love Love Peace Peace time
he already did the Love Love Peace Peace reaction and had to remove it.
anghara2001 Oooh that makes sense hahaha and here I even scrolled down all of his videos to make sure I haven't missed anything and I am not being an idiot well never mind then.. cursed copyright issues

:D Shoes, just go plz 😂
Hold my purse!
I love them!❤️
A better singer after throwing her shoes off, well I can tell you that if the shoes weren't comfortable they may hurt a bit and then sing with them? You could try yourself!!
My favourite Czech entry of all time - until this year! Should have qualified
Azerbaijan 2012 pls
azerbaijan 2012
Can someone explain this shoe moment to me??? Lol))) but seriously- the male singer was really good!!! Can't come up with any reason why it didn't qualify, there were much worse songs competing in the grand final...
In Italy we say, "Ma che cazz...?!" (Sort of a wtf) 😂 what's with those shoes tho?! 🙈
Karin Seregni I was so distracted by that...like did one break? Was she angry? Was she uncomfortable? 😂
Maybe it was a statement... an artistic statement, or a fashion statement.. I don't know, all I can think is "ma che cazz...?!" and "ma perché?!" (Why) 😂😂🙈
React to Azerbaijan 2012
Pls react to Romania 2010
Didn't really like this song. Just didn't feel it.
Jerry Springer? I was so sure this would qualify. Big disappointment, love the male voice.
Good vocals, however the song is too forgettable.
Pls react to Armenia 2009 Jan Jan by Inga and Anush.
React to Slovakia 2009 please , it’s very unique
the song was boring and depressing.
This song was pretty dull in my opinion. I always forget it exists.
This is totally overhyped. I don't like anything about it (only the male's voice).
I don't like this song. Uninteresting for me.
