NCAA Football was an American football video game series developed by EA Sports in which players control and compete against current Division I FBS college teams. The series is a younger brother to the Madden NFL series.
In July 2013, the NCAA announced that it would not renew its licensing contract with Electronic Arts because of an ongoing legal dispute regarding the use of player likenesses in the games. However, this contract only covers the use of the NCAA name and related logos, not those of individual schools and conferences, which are negotiated individually or through the Collegiate Licensing Company. The CLC concurrently announced that it would extend its existing licensing deal with EA through 2017, ensuring that EA Sports could continue the series without the NCAA branding. However, the series was placed on hiatus in September 2013, following three major conferences pulling their trademark licenses from EA, and uncertainties surrounding the results of lawsuits involving the use of player likenesses in-game. However, EA Sports is still making an attempt to get the series back going.
Players' real names and exact likenesses are not used in the game. While the Madden NFL series uses real player names and likenesses, those players are compensated for the use of their image. Due to NCAA restrictions on the amateur status of athletes, names are not allowed. Additionally, current college players cannot be used as cover athletes. Instead, each cover features a player whose college eligibility ended the season before the game's release, wearing his former college uniform. The only two exceptions have been the Wii version of NCAA Football 09, which featured Sparty, the mascot of Michigan State University, on the cover, and NCAA Football 06 when Desmond Howard was featured on the cover striking the Heisman Trophy pose during his career at Michigan, despite not playing for Michigan for more than 15 years.
Although EA Sports does not claim that the players in the game represent real life players, the jersey number, position, height, weight, home state, and ethnicity are aligned with the real players. Fans of any particular team are sure to recognize their favorite players (for example, in NCAA Football 2014, University of North Carolina Tar Heels QB #2 would correspond to QB Bryn Renner). Actual usage of a player's real name would be in violation of the NCAA's policy regarding student-athletes. Amateur "roster makers" will often manually associate player names and will upload a roster file to the built-in roster sharing system. As of the 09 release, EA has put in the EA Locker feature which allows remote roster sharing online through either Xbox Live or PlayStation Network depending on the console.

The Michigan wolverines have been the team I liked playing with so far. When my passing game is not working, I can rely on running and a mean QB scramble with the QB.

That switch stick is kinda irrelevant if you press circle or b it should switch to the closet player to the ball
The switch stick is useful for moving to someone *right* before the ball is thrown. It lets you close the gap on an open receiver before the qb can throw it there.
It doesn’t tho it needs a latch so many times I try to switch to a lineman when they’re scrambling and it switches me to a corner
@@hahaRANDOMSTUFFjust press b or circle to switch to a lineman it switches to the man closest to the ball as long as the stick is not pointing in a different direction that should help with the scramble

Is it just me or do the fav plays don’t save? When I enter another game after I favorited a play it doesn’t appear and I have to search through the playbook to find it

How do I take off the menu circle that pops up every time I try to celebrate before a touchdown it makes my player stop running and gives me all these options and I have to cancel to finish running in the touchdown

I have a question why is it that in TeamBuilder dynasty when you play certain teams there is a tiger for their mascot. I’ve seen this tiger multiple times and some of these teams are not even affiliated with the animal. Can we get our own mascot in team builder, please
great videobut that game just isn’t for me. i wanna play football but all you do is doing pre snap adjustments over and over again because the defense doesnt do anything by themselves
I played my first season on varsity and really didn’t need to do any pre snap work. Just an occasional hot route if I wanted to
@@chaos-fk6fs I always complained about that too when playing defense lol but with the new switch stick you won’t need to make many pre-play adjustments. You can just force an INT/swat if you know where they’re throwing

Dude the difficulty spike in this game is insane. They really need to tone it down a little bit. Heisman is damn near impossible unless you are a professional gamer. Even on All American you either get picked off twice a game no matter what or you are on your ass before you can get the ball off or as soon as you get the ball off resulting in you throwing it way short. Then if you think about lowering the difficulty to like varsity, the game becomes too easy and you put 100 points up on people. I think they should keep heisman for the masochists, tone down All-American slightly (kind of feels like All Madden).
You can beat the cpu on Heisman you just have to play smarter and slower
Adjust the sliders
Hold L1/LB and adjust the blocking, look at a video for when to half and full slide and it makes a huge difference, if your first target isn’t open and heat is coming u can at least leave the pocket most of time with a mobile QB

Is interception pressing the triangle or the either holding down the triangle button like Madden. That's what I struggle with.
yes, basically all of the controls are the same as madden including ball in air defense

In my experience you drop the pick if you don't hold it long enough
Gotta close on the ball without turbo don't hold triangle early or you'll be beat....read QBs shoulder and close on the receivers route 1st
Never knew I had to hold the button I always tapped when the ball was in range .. just depends on the player if they decide to catch it, make the attempt to, or swat it down

Idk bout the rest but for challenges on mut, change your settings to I think under presentation and change to quick presentation and then also when doing a challenge go into end zone celebrating and it skips to end that is also true on Madden .

you have to hold L1 while adjusting the route
You shouldn't have to depend on audible adjustments majority of the time smh. Who the h**l want to keep using it on defense, when the game clock is not in your favor. Which means you don't have time to adjust, only more time is given to the offense. If I f***in pick the right defensive play to stop a pass play, then I should EXPECT my safties and corners to do their job right, at least play defense with more effort. See right there, that's when you wouldn't need to use adjustments. But I see alot yall don't understand the game of football. You really only use adjustments, if you see a mismatch, possibly a busted defensive play before the snap or you may just want to adjust your players a lil better on the field. The guy is right, the A.I should still act like they have some sense, but as usual. On any sports game, the A.I on defense, plays like they have a very poor I.Q and yea I CAN PLAY THE GAME AT THAT. You can try me.
