I'm not currently a motormhomer, preferring the floating caravan of a boat; but I agree the best thing about our boat is the shower! It so good to be able to wake up, have a coffee in the cockpit, then enjoy lovely hot shower before preparing breakfast.
My favourite video by far has got to be the tear drop caravan! Thats the 1st video i stumbled across of yours Will especially when you couldn't lock the door and threw your dinner on the floor! I was crying 😂😂😂 My point being the quirkier the funnier but saying all that this one was a tidy little van and it was nice to see you not breaking your back cooking or hanging off the end of the bed lol nice one!! xxx
The scariest moment in this entire video is Will sitting eating that soup near all the beige coloured soft furnishings! 🤣 Sure, it looks boring now, but for someone who has one of their own they can tinker with the decor, add some fun features and wee quirky touches to make it into their home on wheels. When you look at a VW for similar money you are getting a lot more practically and comfort with a motorhome. I have had caravans and vans for a long time and on my second coach built motorhome . I still have a self converted Renault Trafic for me and the dog and the motorhome comes out when the boss comes away. However I do miss the stealth element of a van conversion. Again why would you spend similar money on a van when you could have that boring motorhome? Cheers Dave
Personally I like it love it! It's better than my two room cottage, has a better kitchen, bed and shower room! And heating. It would be easy to make the inside more interesting. I'd rather buy a high top van and build my own but for some it's easier and probably more affordable to buy this 'off the shelf' and just use it:) Great video as per!
Well, as somebody from the US, this boring motorhome is something we are finally getting here. I don't need a massive rig by myself or SO. Kitchen seems a bit extreme for my needs but I like a full wet-bath.
Looked like you had a great nights sleep and shower 😀 I think if you flip the cushions over the other way they have some memory foam so slightly more comfortable to sleep on (but could be wrong on that as it may not be the same on that model) - personally I preferred the normal way up as the other way is a bit softer. Great different one to normal and fab for comparison - think you rated spot on. All the best, David 👍
Of all the smaller MoHo's around I actually quite like this layout - especially if the Sofas were long enough to sleep on - maybe with the seat swivelled? Agree the interior is rather boring, but it has all the bells and whistles. My parents had a 1959 Siddle Caravan (they became Elddis in the late 70's I think) it was way ahead of its time, aluminium and fibreglass, rockwool insulation, wood lined, gas heating and cooking, including an oven and a toilet compartment with fold away basin too. Lots of clever design features throughout, it even had its own brake system that hooked up to the car. You can heat up Mash under the grill - run a fork over the top of it a few times to create some peaks and troughs, then add a bit of cheese or butter to the top for some crispy bits. Perhaps add a Ridge Monkey to your kitchen collection - the you can heat up things like an apple pie just on a gas burner.
This video did touch a spot!!! While walking into my tesco local a group of youths asked me to buy them 20 Richmonds and the absolute abuse I got when I gave them 12 😡 buy your own next time!!!!
My parents in law had same . Boring for you , but they visited numerous European countries in their bog standard ( your opinion ) beautiful little motorhome. Fantastic memories , and many more to come 😊
Been addicted and binge watching your vids for about a week now. I think this is my fave so far. Curious that the microwave doesn't run off a battery (and there are solar panels on top), so you'd think it could run for a few minutes with no hook up. Strange. Otherwise, perfect little motorhome.
It looked quite luxurious and you could personalize it with different bits and pieces. I did think the fridge was a bit small but in our first and last motorhome we had a fridge/freezer which was quite large. Much prefer our caravan which is 22 footer with full sized fridge/freezer/ full bathroom/washing machine and all the bells and whistles. At least having your mate there we were spared the "Nudie run" for the towel!! 🤣🤣

OY! I own a ten year old version of this one! Only it’s got a hat on, which is a double bed and a handy place for me to sleep, and avoid snoring bloke below. I ripped the microwave out, to install eco flow, and go off grid. And as an older bird, I REALLY appreciate the loo… ewwwww to vanlifers, their inverted snobbery, and kitty litter loos ( kept under the bed or next to sink) 🤮 😂😂😂😂😂x

Found it beautiful and cozy, well thought out...BUT I am uncertain about the oven-kitchen being on the very back. It's bound to be more bouncy and every gas / water / electric line will be tested...so longterm I don't know if it will hold up well.
I would love to own this boring motor home, it's got all the home conforts, a better awnying with sides in it would make extra camping room, if you like to sleep outside a little, or to take somewhere for a base to stealth or just camp.
Neet moter home. the kitichen has a free Standing table witch i haven't seen in a small camper & its a good size table witch isn't normal either you can use as extra counter top space to cook. I like the kitchen functionality. the sleeping space is not my favorite I would prefer a stationary bed but it's good for its size. The bathroom I like it gives you good room to do what you need to. All around a good camper. Now my ratings. Comfort looks nice comfy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kitichen: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you can use the free Standing kitchen table as extra counter top space if needed. Corckyness: ⭐️ Not much corcknesss just a plan Jane camper. Stealthiness: ⭐️ its a camper you can't hide what's going on. Hi Will, I agree those type of motor homes have no character and are totally over priced, you think how much you spent on Mary, and there’s not much difference,apart from that has a bathroom, it’s to new, and to bulky on small roads, it’s just a home from home, It’s a good buy if you want to live in one permanently as it’s cheaper than a flat, so you would save money that way, I reckon this type of motor home would be quite high for insurance and tax, more likely to be stolen than an older van. As a motor home for holiday pleasure I would give it a 1 out of 5, to live in it permanently I would give it a 3 out 5. Personally I would get a van like Mary and do it up the way I wanted it to be. You can’t run a three way fridge off a leisure battery. The battery part of the 3 way fridge is the engine battery ONLY when the engine is running. You can’t operate this feature when the van is parked. When camping it is either gas or electric.
Yes, it lacks character. It almost feels like a standard hotel chain room, but... it's so comfortable!! If I had one I'm sure I could come up with ways to make it my own and not so boring, but having a full bathroom with shower and all is priceless :)

That mortor home is not boring at all. Only down side is the windows that dont really stay up.
They do. All modern caravans have them. You just push out to where you want it and tighten that knob he turned before he pushed it out.

You can’t run a three way fridge off a leisure battery. The battery part of the 3 way fridge is the engine battery ONLY when the engine is running. You can’t operate this feature when the van is parked. When camping it is either gas or electric.

Yes, it lacks character. It almost feels like a standard hotel chain room, but... it's so comfortable!! If I had one I'm sure I could come up with ways to make it my own and not so boring, but having a full bathroom with shower and all is priceless :)
