2 Interesting stats from this (very good) video. 9 crashes/off track moments at Nordschleife, 6 caused by Yokohama tyre failures! Also Lopez involved in 6 crashes and only lost one lap in qualifying. Would be champion even without that luck, though.

Are the citroens faster than all the other cars, or is it the drivers?
kinda both, Lopez would be a champion in a Volvo or a Honda too, but Yvan got 2nd place this year because of the capabilities of the Citroen.
