Most companies will want to have a website, an iOS app and an Android app. That’s 3 projects on 3 different platforms that need to implement roughly the same thing. With React Native, you can already build your iOS and Android apps in the same codebase, often with close to 99% code sharing between the two, saving huge amounts of time and effort. This begs the question, can we do the same for web? We’ll look at the state of code sharing between web and native: the benefits and the pitfalls.
