Here's another scenario for 156 water ingress. On my Alfa Red SW the section under the windscreen cowl had three rust holes under it. If you remove the cowl it's a good opportunity to clean up under there too, but you will likely break a clip or two. Funnily enough the silver parts car I pulled apart did not have the some rust holes.

If you re-seal the metal inside the door panel of Alfa 159 for example, the water will stay inside the door which is also not a good thing. The lesser evil i guess.
Hello, as you can imagine the doors have exit holes on the bottom to let go of the water. Like I showed on the video it's normal to have water inside of the door, it will escape through those holes along the and behind the rubber seal underneath the doors.
