You've gotta come back to NYC in the summer. Coming from someone who was born here it's much better. There's always things to do outside, parties, festivals etc. Its just amazing and I would gladly show you around 😅
The reason why that shopping center is there, it’s because it was there before the twin towers fell. And after everything happened and the memorial was built the shopping center remains. The shopping center was always there prior to 9/11 happening. So I can see how it would look really odd for a shopping center to be across from the Memorial. It’s always been there from before
