I realized Gi-Hun became like the Front Man. Metaphorically. He had no problem stooping down to the level of the game makers and sacrificing people's lives. Just like the Salesman assumed.

i think that if season 2 was the same as season 1 in terms of being emotionally attached to the characters, the plot would have been too predictable and boring... the way they made it more thriller and action-based allowed them to focus more on the plot which i thought was really awesome

I think Kang Sae-Byuk (S1) and Kang No-Eul have a connection somehow, other than being North Korean defectors. Sae-Byuk means "dawn" and No-Eul means "sunset" in Korean. It could be entirely coincidental, but it is pretty common in Korea for siblings to be named using common themes or concepts.
Ooh this is a good one, and I agree. For some reason, I felt those two could be siblings. I thought I saw a picture of No Eul in season 1 with Kang Sae Byuk.
The fisherman is a part of the plan, he's the one who save the police man from his brother's shooting, and the game master probably asked the fisherman to save his brother because it's his brother still. this fisheman in particular has been sailing for YEARS and I DID NOT buy his story about not encountering an island after all those years, he's the one who planted the tracker in the bait, he's the one who set up boobie trap, he's the one preventing the policeman to go to the actual Island.
