I like his voice and style, who is it? He gets to the point while not missing any tips too. He sounds confident and the speed of the video is nice as well. Reminds me of my dad's side of family that are Hungarian :) So, who is narrating and cooking?
Thanks for sharing this delicious looking recipe...I can hardly wait to make it...(I might experiment with switching out a little of the tomato juice with V8 Juice???) I know this is really off-topic, but I want to mention your nice voice reminds me of one of my all time favorite singers/songwriters/novelist/poets...'Leonard Cohen'...Interesting fact, he wrote the profoundly beautiful song..."Hallelujah"... : )
Hi, sorry, but this is not made based on a typical Hungarian recipe. We make it with sauerkraut and the meat recipe is not like that either. The traditional Hungarian stuffed cabbage has a different recipe. I learned the original recipe from my great-grandmother. I don't want to troll, just to clarify that this is not a HUNGARIAN recipe. Try the original recipe next time. You'll be surprised how much tastier it is. 😊
I am Hungarian and we don't make it like this either. We use tomato soup diluted with water just to cover the rolls. We use sauerkraut between layers with pork butt pieces or pork chop pieces with the saurkraut. So easy to make the only thing is boiling the cabbage to wear it's plyable to fill with the meat filling.
@@wilcox728 I'm actually Polish, first generation American from Cleveland, Oh. and your recipe is closer to my family's recipe. I've been making this for over 40 years.... Adding just the plain ol tomato soup was a game changer. ☯️
Try just placing your whole head of cabbage in the freezer overnight, let it thaw on the countertop, core it. This takes out a step and it doesn't come out too mushy.
How long do you cook the cabbage? Martha Stewart and her mother take it out, peel the easy leaves, then put it back in the water. DO that over and over again.
They look so delicious!😋🤤 I needed a drool bucket!!🤤🤤🛢(couldn’t find bucket, so this will work!😆). Keep the recipes coming. Do you have an authentic Hungarian goulash you can show us how to make?
Yeah it's those apples that give it the magic! Actually I do have the Goulash I'll dig it out of the boxes, all I remember now is it's over noodles with peas garnish on top. Maternal grandmother was Hungarian but lived in Vienna, lot of good food from Vienna.
Love this tutorial, easy to follow and straightforward. I am going to try this technique.
Def going to try this. Great recipe & tutorial.

I believe this is an AI voice, I hear it in many videos when the creator needs a manly, old man of experience type of voice...
@@SFiz-b3fthank you, I can usually spot it but hadn’t heard this voice before.
Great explanation! I will definitely try! Thank you

How did they get President Regan to narrate this?

This "Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage" is a well-known Polish dish GOŁĄBKI,
even the Chinese know it!!!!!
Nice try.. Sorry, those 'Hungarian stuffed cabbage' are called gołąbki and they are Polish cuisine...
You forgot the paprika!!! Definitely not Hungarian!
FUCKEN GOOD!
This is not hungarian!!!!!!!!!!
I agree!
Nem hát! Ez is olyan, mint amikor főznek mindenféle pörköltet és "magyar gulyásnak" hívják.
Where's the piros paprika???
Totally agree & I'm not Hungarian! But I know better than this..
Nothing Hungarian about this recipe !
3 hours to cook plus time to prepare, not worth it.....go out to a good restruant and order this.
I agree with all the Hungarians. This may be good but it ain't Hungarian. And I'm Italian!
