You forgot to mention the price of Mahindra 'Roxor' in your review. Its super cheap compared to other vehicles in the same class. Its real value-for-money!
Its value depends on a lot of factors. In most states of the US, it can only be legally driven off road because it doesn't comply with anti polution and safety standards. An alternative would be an older jeep, which would be about the same price and have heating and cooling, a good top and could be driven anywhere.

Sold has Mahindra Commander/Armada/Thar in India it is one the best reliable vehicles ever to be built and low maintenance. Considering the kind Potholes/craters we have in most cities they handle them well.
There was a temporary stop build due to FCA and their lawsuit aginst mahindra, but supposedly the new 22 models will hit dealers in May of next year, they were built from 18 to 20 then a lapse for 21 and the 22s are comming.
I went to a wedding in India and got on a private safari in the middle of the night at a National Park with one of my buddies. Our translator arranged it (think she had a fling going with the park ranger). We rode in the back of a Mahindra Jeep. We had been drinking a bit and I had to pee bad so we stopped on a trail and I hopped out the back and went to scurry off the trail but I ended up running into thorn bushes and peed on myself a little. Then hopping back into the back I slammed my knee on the side wheelwell. Overall a cool ride though!

It seems to not be very happy you should have gotten a Jeep CJ7 seems like he would have a lighter front-end more storage room more horsepower probably better interior and so on
This was a very helpful review, however your point about the weight is somewhat obtuse when considering the weight of the current Jeep Wrangler two-seater is a thousand pounds greater than the Mahindra (+/- 50lbs). Furthermore I'm extremely interested in the modifications in which you made to the engine in order to double its horsepower. We are very interested and knowing how you did this considering this is a tremendous feat and such engineering prowess and knowledge would surely be appreciated if shared and spread amongst the learned community. In closing the reason why the term lbs is used when talking about pounds is because of the astrological symbol Libra which is a scale and so when we weigh things in the United States we're actually saying it weighs 100 Libras or pounds.
Doubling the hp is as simple as sending the computer out for a tune. For some reason Mahindra tuned the engine way down, I believe it was to make it look more like a side by side than an actual road vehicle. Most people have the dealer send the ECU out for a tune before they even pick it up. Mine went from 60hp to 110 hp with a Diesel Freeks tune. This is the number one upgrade that every Roxor owner should do!
@@talktojerm The reason it is tuned down is because it can avoid a majority of the emission laws with a low power tune. Even in an offroad application, anything above 75 horse is going to have more emissions equipment built in, DPF, DOC, DEF, SCR, all the fun acronyms.

About 2k iam a daily user... Sold my old hilux (her days are over been using for a17 years) i bought it at a local auction not brand new
how much this thing cost you? i havent seen any in Australia. thank
They range from 12k to 20k depending on options and model.
coming in 2022/23, petrol or diseal.
It only made for US. However in Australia , u get Mahindra Thar and scorpio pick-up 4wd. They r too very value for money products.
Awesome review!
That Curb Wt.Indicates made out of Steel.Thats what I want.Put some 10:15 31 Tires on it.The old Armstrong True Track or Armstrong Norseman.
First thing I'd do to that is take out the open differentials and put in a limited slip or possy differential
You could also weld up the rear spider gears of you are just using it offroad.
This is so neat
Sold has Mahindra Commander/Armada/Thar in India it is one the best reliable vehicles ever to be built and low maintenance. Considering the kind Potholes/craters we have in most cities they handle them well.
Great review 👍
What pattern diesel did they use? Perkins? Mercedes? Most of the world uses one or the other. Anybody know?
The key/push button problem is a super easy fix!
is there production and sell stop??
There was a temporary stop build due to FCA and their lawsuit aginst mahindra, but supposedly the new 22 models will hit dealers in May of next year, they were built from 18 to 20 then a lapse for 21 and the 22s are comming.
I like and respect this guy. He was honest and to the point. Loved to hear him.
Did you know that Roxor spelled backwards is Roxor
Thanks for the review, who is the lineman in the family haha
I went to a wedding in India and got on a private safari in the middle of the night at a National Park with one of my buddies. Our translator arranged it (think she had a fling going with the park ranger). We rode in the back of a Mahindra Jeep. We had been drinking a bit and I had to pee bad so we stopped on a trail and I hopped out the back and went to scurry off the trail but I ended up running into thorn bushes and peed on myself a little. Then hopping back into the back I slammed my knee on the side wheelwell. Overall a cool ride though!
Best modified roxor .. thar
Son,This is a 1953 Willys CJ 3 ,Thats just what the rest of us,Want BombProof,Simple,All Steel ,Parts Interchangeability. Also Do not drive faster than 55 in it in perfect Dry Conditions.Less as Conditions Deteriorate.

What is the leg room like? I am a big and tall guy.
Its decent, I sold it last year however..all the dealers here in GA folded and had no customer service and support on parts.
👍👍
Good review buddy, very helpful.
What was the radio cover???
Just a cover made by Metra I believe it screws on the dash, has a foam rubber seal
Little known fact.... One automatically switches to a Southern accent when talking about your jeep 🚙
Haha...I cant help it, im as far south as you can get, just country as a turnip green🤣

It looks like my CJ7 and I was hoping they were going to make a street legal version but it’s not to be. I ordered a JL five weeks ago and now I’m waiting.
I won't ever have another chrystler fiat product, not after what we went through...good luck with that...lol
@@fastdraw30 Lord I don’t like the sound of that. If they made CJ7s again I’d buy one but they were made by AMC not Chrysler.
@@map3384 Yeah, everyone has to learn the hard way with "Jeep" today. Its all Italian owned and designed which is cheap junk, all of it. A wrangler is the most overpriced, unreliable vehicle you could possibly own, and its so bad the company pays off the consumer reports groups to keep from killing the sales, but the flip side is when you get sick of it, you will get a good resale value, because there are tons of morons in the world that have to learn too😆
@@fastdraw30 I’ll get an extended warranty.
@@map3384 we had one too...wouldn't fix a damn thing, cause you cant fix an already broken design...luckily the dealership bought it back after 2 years of not being able to fix it.
I have a Roxor. My biggest worry when driving country roads is no insurance.
You can insure it
@@fastdraw30 I haven't actually checked with an insurance company, but I'm pretty sure I cannot insure a not street legal vehicle for illegal use on public roads.
How is it possible to get one exactly with the front and that this one has on the video or switch out the whole front end of the new one with a nice run in. The new one looks ugly that's very hideous looks like a cheap golf cart this one here is exceptional
bro wake up and decided to make best roxor review
Good review

I kinda think comparing a legit Jeep to a side by side is not comparable at all.
Totally different, this is a vehicle not an ATV
You seem like making fun of Matthew McConaughey's accent..:)
He has a Texas accent, I'm from Georgia, I got a southern draw...but ....ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!!😎😅
@@fastdraw30 Well Matthew is an East Texas Accent,,, but Texas is big enough to have somewhere around four to five accents, here on the border we slip in many Spanish words, but I've got my daughter at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, (Texas's oldest city), and part of the East Texas area. Good job on your 2 year review.
Congrats on 2years with the Roxor. Here in India we have the Mahindra Thar instead of the Roxor. The Thar was upgraded in 2020 and is much more powerful than the older version along with a brand new petrol engine (150bhp). Rumours going around are that the version abroad will receive the 180bhp tune. Here are some videos of the relatively new Mahindra Thar -

Wonder if an old school Jeep windshield would fit. Would look much better imo
It will, with some modifications, several folks have done that...you have to remove the roll cage and fab the brackets a bit.
Had me sold at 30mpg. Lol
He forgot to mention it is a DIESEL.
why would anyone pay as much as a used jk jeep and it not be street legal...they need to lower the price and id be interested otherwise ill pass for something i dont have to trailer with coil overs
I SUSPECT THE STORAGE IS KEY OPERATED BECAUSE OF ALL THE THIEVES IN INDIA.
