I personally picture David dancing as if he was dancing to a hymn, like from a church hymnal.
I saw a lady dancing at a seminar, years ago: standing up in front of her seat, she was slowly waving her arms and upper body like a sway, very soothing type of dance, It was beautiful. It was like she was praising the Lord with her whole being. Was tactful, not tasteless.

We had a dog that knew that every Sabbath afternoon, we would go for a walk. We tried all kinds of ways to trick her, but she knew. She loved going on the walks.

Concerning the Jephthah question, His vow was a BURNT OFFERING of the first thing that met him on his return. (vs 31) And in vs 39, he did with her as his vow that he had vowed ... ( It seems pretty clear ). Just because we are not comfortable with it doesn't mean it didn't result in an unfavorable outcome.

Read the book Patriarchs and Prophets where E.G. White gave insight as to how David danced .

There will be people who have not read the bible or chose Christ but they unknowingly did the will of God and when they die they will be saved. If our character is of God we will be saved regardless if we have heard the gospel,or not. There are so many these days that are being raised without Christianity. If God provides an opportunity to hear the gospel and we deliberately refuse then that’s different. Thankfully, it’s God that decides who and who will not be saved. On another note, it is better to not have known the will of God than to know it and not do the will of God. This maybe what the preacher was referring to when he spoke on the disadvantages of knowing the will of God.

The disadvantage of not knowing the Will of God , could be for a time until God reveals His will to us , also not knowing the will of God ,we will lean on our own understanding and the bible say we are not to do that, let us pray and ask God to let us know and understand his will for us.

I would say that David danced in the spirit. If you are dancing in the spirit I would have to believe the spirit will guide you.

Does not God, and Jesus want all to choose salvation for now, and eternity! Thanks that choice is ours, for God is not a dictator! With His loving agape power , Jesus calls us to His side!! Thanks!!

Incorrect about sin robbing us from our power to choose. The Spirit of Prophecy is clear that freedom of choice can never and has never been taken away. Ellen White wrote how the fallen race though weakened by sin could have CHOSEN not to continue falling through faith and the power of the Holy Spirit.

I didn't understand the reluctance to assign the prophetic day year principle to Revelation 17:12. Why wouldn't 1 hour be equivalent to 1/24 of a year (because there are 24 hours in a day), i.e. about 2 weeks? You said we don't know. But the final events will move quickly. A 2 week interval doesn't seem unrealistic to me in a final and quick scenario, keeping in mind what these 10 kings will do and that the Lamb will conquer them, indicated in the subsequent verses.

If you say she didn't die, Can you please explain Judges 11 vs 39?... He carried out his vow which he had carried? Also when God sacrificed his son was it paganism?

Verse 39 ends with a sentence; “she knew no men” implying that she remained pure, she was offered to God in that way. And God did not sacrifice the son Jesus gave his own life for our sins.

21:57 there is untimed Prophecy in Revelation and this matches Rev. 8:1: Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. It’s 15 days. It’s untimed because all time prophecy stopped in 1844, but there are still untimed prophecy in Revelation. We know it will happen but there is date attached to it. Too bad all the people who preached prior to 1979 are dead or senile. Prior to 1979, Pastors preached on untimed prophecy. Unfortunately, this has been lost, ignored or forgotten. God doesn’t write meaningless things and sticks it in the Bible. Shame on you two for not admitting that this verse is untimed prophecy.
