- I couldn't be more happy for @justinmedeiros2499 winning the 2021 @CrossFitGamesTV , and watching @tia-clairtoomeyshaneorr5705 win her 5th title! I also wrestled with @JoshBridges and put a bunch of legends through a FRASER40 workout.

@@dylanboudreaux9916 Because you, me and the people watching this video know who matt frazer is ... i am pretty sure you wouldn't recognize Max Verstappen or Lewis hamilton if here were in front of you at the shift when you would be working .. I had the same thing with (if i remember correct) Valentino Rossi at the Dutch TT Assen about 15 years ago... I remember him saying, his name and like ... "You don't know me" but than again was like, yeah some people dont know me ... If you could know how many celebrity's you've missed in your live, :)

Look how happy Matt is for his fellow athletes even after years of competing against one another and fighting for that top spot on the podium - love to see it.
how could he not be happy?
He can finally turn that competitive switch and have fun. He has no pressure, no worries, and nobody is a threat to him. He can finally enjoy and reap the benefits of his hard work.
And he knows how hard they work for it and he knows what it can do for their lives and families with a good performance. But still it was awesome to watch.
Seeing him cheering at the final event and Justin’s winning made it obvious- that man is NEVER coming back and is not gonna regret retiring or really feel that urge to go back like Bridges thinks he will
YES, please train the kid from Brazil. He is so gifted for his size. He could be AWESOME. Love this sport and how it doesn't matter where anyone is from, we are just excited for everyone to do well.

That sequence of when Tia points up to Matt after her win, with Matt’s reaction. I got goosebumps. Just a glimpse of that feeling. 👌🏻

Definitely an underrated moment of the games. The way he drops the bar; looks at his parents and then steps up on to the platform was so epic!! I was like....."What a way to finish the job!!!"
I think I heard every possible pronunciation of Medeiros during the games.
The passion that Mat has insane. You can tell just by his expressions. The enjoyment he will have coaching and training athletes. Who ever Mat coaches will be extremely lucky. Mat you are a true ambassador of the CrossFit Community and the CrossFit Sport.

Just watching Mat is an event in itself...you can see the genuine excitement he has watching his friends compete. And the breathing...lol!
I love watching 33:50 - 34:50 because you can see that recognition of someone taking the mantle from Mat, you can see in his eyes it's official that he's done with competing and happy to see it thrive beyond him. I think even moreso you see that excitement because of Medeiros won, who he trained a couple times before the Games. Almost like a weight off of his shoulders. Kinda feel like you see it in Sammy's eyes as well. There's something powerful in these moments that's hard to describe. Happiness, relief, and reflection. It's great.
I heard those anxious breaths as Mat thought he was still on the competition floor. 🤣 I also love his enthusiasm and drive to see others succeed, it's really awe-inspiring.
Ahh man, I miss watching Mat and Tia as training partners.

He's like a proud papa! Mat and Sammy are going to be the parents that every kid in the neighborhood wishes they had. Seeing how proud he was of Justin, just wait for another little Fraser running around! With all that love and support they can literally accomplish anything!

Love the part where you're stopped by security and you don't say "Don't you know who I am?!" Reminds me of the time that Rafael Nadal got stopped by stadium security before one of his matches when his picture was hanging on the wall right next to the security officer.

Mat coming to the non-profit Community Center spectator workout and saying hello was so cool. This guy really has a heart of gold. I think the shoe design is spot on. He was broken and rebuilt better. He is showing love and support to our guys and girls using CrossFit inside Colorado prisons to redeem themselves and help others. He flew out on his dime and stayed from set up to after podium and just hung out. The impact of a man of Mat’s character and obvious credentials investing his time in this traditionally marginalized community is beyond amazing. Thanks for being such a good guy and we’re proud to be your friends. I’m glad the world gets to see Mat for the person he is aside from the GOAT CrossFitter.

Only one person knows the athlete Fraser better than anyone.Tia.And right after she wins the chip for the 5th time she smiles and waves to Mat.She respects him more than anyone else.That to me is the biggest proof of what an force of an athlete Mat is.(and yes if he competed this year too he'd won.)

This was 🔥🔥❤️❤️💪💯🔥🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😢😢😁 Watching how much it all means to Mat and also when Justin hugged his parents killed me. Losing my mom this year and seeing him with his mother was a real moment for me. Count all your blessings, take it all in, and blink as little as possible because before you know it the people you love are gone and the moments we live for become distant memories. This was beautiful.

You have to understand not everyone knows mat and some are volunteers. The guy was just doing his job and mat understood that. Mat was a good sport about it.

The moment where Justin won the games Is the best part. To me that’s when mat finally fully realized that his time on the floor is finished (sadly) to me he realized “I can relax and enjoy my life now” while obviously he enjoyed his life while I in CrossFit.

33:50 the passing of the torch was emotional..all of us really hope Matt is still competing but no one knows better except for Matt. But hey, as time goes, other categories still can be competed in the future. Other local comps who knows. But seeing HWPO is growing also with great athletes behind it, is gonna be something to watch.

I wonder when the whole "living in your parents basement" stigma as a bad thing will ever go away. I spent years in my parents basement and then later on living with my then girlfriend parent's basement. We both love our families and it allowed us to save money to buy a house and put money away for retiring.
