l love the ending of this game, it makes me feel worth it, I can see why some people do not like it since there is some 'out of nowhere' moment. But I am happy that at least everybody got a happy ending and Rean are smiling again. guess we now wait for three years to see the next trail game which is probably related to what Master Yu is doing during this time.
I'm hoping that the next trails game will include all the other characters including Rean and both the new and original class 7 and we get to carry our save file over.
You won't be getting that. Next arc is in Calvard with a whole new cast of characters but some members of Class 7 might appear just like how the Sky and Crossbell characters appear in Erebonia.
No more bloated cast please, those do more harm than good. We didn't even got playable Alfimi, Elise, Olivier or Schera in this one to allow a few minutes of the others. Just put Rean and someone else, and that would be fine. I hope they keep the main team at minimal, instead of having a class of 7+ characters and plenty of guests, Calvard first game should only have 4-5 characters.
@@Merotryz I get you. Trails in the Sky kept the cast at a minimum and it helped the main characters get more fleshed out. Old Class VII all got developed, but new Class VII didn't have the advantage of being in 4 games. I hope new Class VII reappear as cameos in the next arc.
Seeing all the characters, both old and new, just all together at the end was really beautiful. I didn't think everyone was going to make an appearance, but nope! EVERYONE is there!
Who noticed during the part leadin up to the Divine Knights disappearing the music had part of the melody from the first Cold Steel game's opening!! Ahhh such chills on my spine this series gives me.

agreed, but the only thing in my opinion they needed to perfect the game a bit more is the epilogue. Sen 2 has a good epilogue, I was hoping that they would put an after story where it shows the lives of Rean and the rest of new class 7 after this true ending and there would be a school festival in the 2nd branch campus and every protagonists from each game came together and did a battle royale or Prof. schimdt cooked up something special in the training room. And other than that in sen 2's epilogue, you could see the interaction between Rean and his romance interest. I was hoping there would be something like that but overall Awesome game ! Can't wait for the next installment of the trails series.
So happy everyone showed up at the wedding at the end. I mean, with the high tension that Liberl and Crossbell have with Erebonia throughout all of the Trails games you’d think not all of the guys would’ve shown up at Oliver’s wedding but they all showed up. Even the rest of Estelle’s group and the SSS who didn’t show up in this game.
I really want to know what will Ouroboros became, what kind of line would they take, are they preparing for something in case "it" will come to Erebonia? some godly being? the true enemies of humanity? or being like McBurn? First thing first, what is Ouroboros? enemies of humanity? third party? or something like being that give guidance in form of threating and exposed many legend to people? Now that ToCS in finished, I wonder what will future give to us, we really need to know more about this Ouroboros and being from another dimension.

so there are few things i am currently puzzled by : 1. why is Gaius not joining the final battle ? since he was shown on the prince's banquet 2. the final-final boss , what is it ?? is it the actual form of Rean's "ogre power"
Spoilers......................................Ishmelga is a being from the same place divergent laws, McBurn, and the salt pale come from, it's here to gain strength from chaos and destruction because it was weak and afraid of dying/disappearing, the fastest way to get to his goal was to attempt to get Dreichels into a contract with him, but Dreichels didn't, neither did his reincarnations, and so Ishmelga put forth a plan to get to his goals, and so he made Black Alberich to write the black history books, manipulated information, changed itself to the 7th divine knight Ishmelga even though in truth there were only 6, made Black Alberich cause the events leading up to the tragedy of Hamel, the deaths of Claire and Lecther's family and put them into slavery, created the black workshop and made the Gnomes work together with it, and then caused the Heimdallr incident where Kassia and Rean died, it was here where Ishmelga was finally able to get to Dreichels' reincarnation and in return for saving Rean, Ishmelga was able to possess Gilliath Osborne
So how did Black Alberich get wrapped up in that? From what I've read, Alisa's dad was apparently brainwashed by Ishmelga into being Black Alberich when he was making the illustration for the Panzer Soldats. But according to info. from Cold Steel 3, Black Alberich has been around for centuries. So is Black Alberich an actual person, or a title of sorts? Also is Franz really a gnome?
I'm not 100% on this one but from what I know, Black Alberich is a fragment of Ishmelga, it has no body of it's own so it possessed human hosts to become Black Alberich and discards them when they no longer function, the latest is Franz Lughman, and Franz himself is not a Gnome, but Alberich is
Happy ending for Olivier and the rest, the wedding scene was beautiful but I won't say the conclusion was satisfying. Suddenly reviving character and all that, that for me was weak, and every bad thing was because of the curse meh
I mean this is kondo's story, so stuff here are either gonna please you or not,that's always been a common practice in narrative to take risks with story-telling and revelations for sen 4 make a ton of sense,if you look deep into it since that's what kondo actually wanted fans to do. So I'd say the whole curse and conclusion is perfectly suited for this story and lore.
I don't care about Kondo magnum opus but if next trails will have a bloated cast with most pushed into sidelines and the death in our side are revert in the end then I won't like it.

Don't tell me after all this Ouroboros still got it in some way like what happened in Crossbell with KeA, it would be a cruel twist in a what was supposed to be an earned happy ending. I know they are taking a break like the period between Sky the 3rd and Zero but there are still quite a lot of "What are they going to do now?" questions now being tossed around with our cast. Not to mention, the ending in here and Ao implied that even with Osbourne gone, Crossbell's liberation is still rocked with violence so there should had been a 2nd Gaiden/Divertissement chapter on it's liberation. So they are actually not even planning on getting the treasures themselves but were just simply setting them off like bombs and seeing the results? Man, figuring out the Final Orpheus Plan just got harder...BTW, the Grandmaster better not be Aidios. The whole "God is evil" trope especially in recent JRPGs is getting old.
@@pigifi its funny really, she was shown in the game talking about eternal resurrection or reiteration plan also Orpheus was something she started 20 years ago. McBurn also tells you he and the salt pillar, the divergent weapons/beings arent from this world neither. The curse in Erebonia also came from another world.
pigifi originally the theory was that Ouroboros are planning to get the sept-terrions for themselves to gain power to control the world, but that theory went out of the window after this game, the new theory is that Ouroboros is preparing the people of Zemuria for the world where McBurns, the Salt Pale, and the divergent laws come from, and the final kiseki game will take place there
@ferrick I got that vibe too!, it's like ouroboros was testing humanity strength and observe their direction. Amusingly the story so far(sora,ao,sen) progressed like the legend on black records although on backward direction and the last was battle of two gods.
whats more surprising is that Cedric went to follow Shirley now. He is head over heels over her now? And she even want to introduce him to her father hahhahahhaa. We gotta see Cedric as Red Constellation member later on.

No, he wasn't its just a picture at the end. A lot of character were shown in pictures, they don't have the budget for show more characters so they made an statement about them being busy elsewhere and probably next trails they will appear. I even expect Duddley, Rixia, Arios, Anelance, Zin, Kevin and Wazy to be guest in next trails when they just got mentions only. If they have reduced the number of allies it could have been possible to even make them appear...

@@pigifi its funny really, she was shown in the game talking about eternal resurrection or reiteration plan also Orpheus was something she started 20 years ago. McBurn also tells you he and the salt pillar, the divergent weapons/beings arent from this world neither. The curse in Erebonia also came from another world.
pigifi originally the theory was that Ouroboros are planning to get the sept-terrions for themselves to gain power to control the world, but that theory went out of the window after this game, the new theory is that Ouroboros is preparing the people of Zemuria for the world where McBurns, the Salt Pale, and the divergent laws come from, and the final kiseki game will take place there
@ferrick I got that vibe too!, it's like ouroboros was testing humanity strength and observe their direction. Amusingly the story so far(sora,ao,sen) progressed like the legend on black records although on backward direction and the last was battle of two gods.

No, he wasn't its just a picture at the end. A lot of character were shown in pictures, they don't have the budget for show more characters so they made an statement about them being busy elsewhere and probably next trails they will appear. I even expect Duddley, Rixia, Arios, Anelance, Zin, Kevin and Wazy to be guest in next trails when they just got mentions only.
If they have reduced the number of allies it could have been possible to even make them appear...

Super late, but you have to get the normal ending first, then reload your save file and do the hidden quest in the final dungeon.

可以說很好的作品，也可以說垃圾作品～原本該死的人卻沒死，1和2的時候知道我們是含著淚玩完的遊戲嗎？結果在3的時候又出現克羅，4的時候更屌～還復活，反而還能違背世界定律讓死者復活～
應該說福利給太多，太偏袒主角群了。希望下一作法社有勇氣發主角群便當XD
