About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

It's time for riffing and then some cleaning. And then more riffing and more cleaning.
Not everyone will get it but I did !
@@didtoknan8128I get it it’s from Courtney one take of this song
Came here to make this reference, but knew in my heart it had already been done
You did it.
Dude the way he plays is just so damn cool
Crazy how quickly he switches between guitars without missing a beat… flawless
A truly talented musician
They are the same guitar, he's actually painting them, switching bridges and pickups.
@@darrenleary8629 My man Martin Luthier King Jr. up in here
He repaints it per switch, truly talented Flash IRL character
Ikr wow he’d have to throw em to the roadie pretty quick🤯
The chorus is so deceptively intricate. You don’t realize how crazy it is under Courtney’s vocals.
I was literally just thinking that!
Mike is a songwriting beast without the need to shred like crazy (and he totally can do it if he wants).
stealth prog
Same with the Blessed Be playthrough. So much good stuff that gets lost in the full mix
It's time for stringing... and then some strumming... and then some stringing and more strumming.
Please give Mike creative control over Jackson's modern guitar line up. There isn't a Jackson he's had that hasn't has me GASSED.
Mike's got his own vibe for sure
It’s fantastic that Mike chose to play Rule of Nines. It was an absolute crime that it didn’t make their first album! Also some absolutely stellar guitar work🤘🏽
It’s not on the album because it was released as a part of the singles collection. Would’ve been weird to include a single on an album that are two years apart.
@@CrzyWzrd4Lcould have made deluxe edition with this, Blessed be and a third track as Holly Roller demo perhaps or a live-track
@@Martin2k17Nah re-releasing old songs packaged as a “deluxe edition” is just a gross cash grab. If you’re gonna do a deluxe edition, add new material and don’t re-package old stuff.
Bruh it didn’t fit the album
@CrzyWzrd4L nah it was a b side from Eternal Blue, just like Blessed Be
Always fun to hear all the little guitar touches hiding in the full tracks
That red guitar with the black trim is straight up fucking fire. I have all the wants. The new Spiritbox ep is killer too, shame it wasn’t a full album but you cannot deny the quality of the songwriting, hard to pick a favourite currently.
I knew exactly how it was going to sound without even seeing the video
To the guys at Jackson, you guys manage to wow everyone, no matter what age you’re in. Mike, phenomenal guitar, and that music making is out of this world, man. You two should colas more often, we need more of this shit 🤘
They managed to completely make those Aristides disappear. Some straight up David Copperfield master class trickery type stuff 😳
Dude is Mike officially endorsed by Jackson now? I think Mike is one of the most inspirational guitarists of the current wave. Sounds amazing.
He has been for a year or so
I guess he's a kind of a "multiendorser", since he's still a household name for Aristides Guitars (even getting recently a multiscale with an Evertune-based bridge).
@@hatempire ok I was wondering if he was done with them. I haven’t tried the evertune yet, definitely on my list.
@@hatempireJackson being an “Everymans” brand and Aris. Being more of a boutique custom brand. They really don’t compete much over market share. You can get Jackson’s at any price range, Aris you are hardly getting anything under 2k USD.
@@Return2TheLiving nice business insight, thank you! With that info, seems even more reasonable to have both brands being fine with it
Epic, Holy Roller was the very first song I heard by Spiritbox, absolute banger and I love it so much and Rule of Nines was the second song I heard, Blessed Be was the third song, Blessed Be and Rule of Nines have a special place in my heart forever, it was these epic songs that got me hooked on Spiritbox… And I would have loved for Rule of Nines and Blessed Be to have been included on Eternal Blue, I love all their songs, amazing band…
Rule of Nines
all of these guitars are beautiful as hell but the multiscale is fucking GORGEOUS
also though why would the cameraman blue ball me at 3:08 right when that tapping lick gets extra spicy, you absolute monster
Come on Jackson, all these 7 strings models and not even one available for lefties.. if Schecter and LTD can do it, there is no reason you can't
Dude had to play this so many times for all the guitar changes lol 🤘
These fucking guitars are beyond amazing and Mike has the precision of a Swiss watch and elegant playing style of a ballet dancer
Jackson guitars are capable of a lot of things but I didn’t know shapeshifting was one of them.
As much as I love Courtney, Spiritbox should drop instrumental versions of their albums as well.
underrated guitarist since fall of archaea
I saw mike play way back when he played with fall in archaea, I knew he was built different
Jaw, meet floor.
This is a positive comment. You remind me of Jesse cash.
This is so sick. First song I ever heard from Spiritbox.
Glad to see the OG 5153 50 getting some love. I feel like the stealth 50 has been the only one people care about for ages. Sounds killer.
Everything I need to make the tab without exactly what I need to make the tab....
To this day, possibly favorite Spiritbox song
Time for some shredding, and then some chugging, and then more shredding.
Thank you Mike always was curious how my favorite spiritbox song's guitar work was done. With only one axe too!
Which guitar would you like sir?... All OF THEM!!
So, that Mike Stringer signature Jackson is coming any day now, right? *wink wink*
Good God, I freaking cant get enough of that Tesseract sound. Beautiful
Mike is super talented
It's you Sam Winchester the hero of Metal 😅
what a riff. love his playing.
"...i did it..."
Mike is a goat on the strings bro
Im LOVING all these playthroughs!
Please do a play through of Hysteria.
It's good that the commercial brands are starting to look at the future of modern metal !
What pedals are you using?
Such a juicy riff
Anyone know the tuning
When did Sebastian Vettel pick up a guitar?
Badass
Awesome, I love those 7 string riffs. I wish they had more lessons on them though. Thanks
Makes me miss Fall in Archaea everytime I hear em.
Jackson was like hey you don't mind playing this on 20 different models do you? lol sounds great but production probably sucked.
Sick guitars and this song is always amazing to hear and see Mike play.
Love that intro riff. so simple but just rips. Possibly my fave from Mike
So beautiful by itself. Such a creative musician.
If Diablo was a guitarist, I can see him sitting on his throne/bed jamming this. Hail the Lord of Hatred. He'd name this tune: Tristram's downfall.
Full Range 20 Stars on a 5 Star Scale.
D**n!
lov'n the edits.🤘🤘
When's the signature guitar coming out? 6 string, volume knob as far away from the bridge as possible and no tone lol. Great playing as always!
THIS IS THE BANGER ! Congratulations Michael on the Jackson video , you are always looking good as well ; you handsome tight ass man. YO THOSE GUITARS are getting broke !!! And are real nice! love your style , much love . Hugh jackman 🙌
i love the tone and the guitar switching
One of the best guitarists and songwriters there is!
He did it
mike is a legend
1:26
Make this man a custom 9-string so we can get a proper playthrough for Rotoscope.
No need for an 9 string. Drop F# then pitch shift down 1 octave when needed. On his signature plugin (Mixwave spiritbox), there is a preset for that song.
@@didtoknan8128 Serious Q, why write and record the song on a 9-string to begin with if he could do that in the first place?
@@TetraVaalBioSecurity I guess you're talking about that Aristides 9 string that even Beana had in custody for some time. The more probable is that the low string was tuned to either C#1 or B0. So I guess he still had to pitch shift down to F#. My other guess is that it sounded better to pitch shift down 5 semi tones rather than 1 octave on his 7 string drop F#.
Now I'm curious and I will compare both !
у джексана и фендара качество гитар оставляет желать лучшего, а так смотрится круто)
Makes me proud to own a Jackson, albeit a pretty cheap one! Have a JS30RR
Turns out João Medeiros played it perfectly. Such a beautiful song
Mike Stringer is absolutley phenomenal! And the gold sparkle will be mine one day soon. Oh yes, it will be mine! Lol. Keep kicking serious ass mike! Your music is amazing! Listen to it every day
Didn't know that Vettel plays a guitar.)
Hell yeah, that was cool. It's hard to hear some of these riffs under all the layering and whatnot, some cool riffs for sure. Def didn't expect the tapping either.
Too bad you didn't have just 1 more guitar.
would love to start playing some Spiritbox tunes but with my Helix Stomp I cant get a nice tight djent tone, it sounds so noisy, I tried using low again and many other combination of noise gates and low cuts, but everything sounds terrible.
Lower the gain by a lot. Use a compressor.
Ok but those guitar transitions were just as clean as the playing
Can anyone tell me what pickups he’s using
I am a great magician
YOUR GUITAR IS RED NOW
I didnt know Sebastian Vettel played metal.
What's the name of the red with black trim model?
Tuning?
Drop F#.
He just wanted to flex all of his guitars for this video
Thumb up for Mike, thumb down for the video.
Put a trigger warning man now I gotta buy another guitar
The blue guitar is smexyyy I want
this man is totally insane in the best way possible
So cool man ,thankyou Mike
That gold sparkle.... 0 __ 0
Mike Stringer is really a stringer on how he bends those strings!
That gold sparkle! 🤤😍🔥
The orange Jackson....♥️
Courtney - "Hell yeah that's MY MAN!"🖤🖤
What pickups does Mike generally use?!
Mainly Fishman Fluence. Modern and Open Core (the blade ones) seems to be their usuals at the moment
A wizard and an absolute Lord
A play through where you barely get to see him playing instead it’s just an ad for Jackson guitars.
You literally see him playing through the whole thing.....
@@Eyeyamgod in playthroughs you usually don’t have all these cuts and the focus is on what he’s playing, for example the fretting hand. Not on the guitar itself and not from behind the guitar. Mike is a beast so I’m saying I just wanna see him play and that would make me want the guitar sigs. Not this approach as much
It's almost like this video is on the Jackson page 🤯
@@drdoom8793 they still called it a playthrough.
:50 sounds good bro
amazing clean tones!
I like that sunburst....
Mike is my hero right now
Sick dude, sick mix.
Goddamn
Mike the GOAT
It’s like a student of Steph carpenter evolved into the master.
The Riff Machine!!!
