We’re in a era where a duo that has made 5 EFC & 2 Finals before they both turned 30 can be seen as a failure. Craziness
I think that people view this iteration of the Celtics as failures because of how stacked the roster has been for years thanks to the Nets trade. They fleeced the Nets and literally have had a top 3-5 roster for almost a decade.
It kind of is. Take it from me, a 49ers fan. Yeah we have a lot of regular season and early playoff success but can never get the job done. It’s a bit of a failure when the ultimate goal is a championship

Why people bringing up Boston defense to stop luka and kyrie when Minnesota had the number 1 defense in the entire league and Luka and kyrie cooked them
That's 2 different teams 2 different matchups
Boston will try to make them take tough shots no stop them...The goal is to make them work hard on both sides of the ball, Luka will not get to take off on defense like he did against Minnesota. Luka rested a lot on defense because they only had two actual scorers on the Team. He can't do that against Boston this round.
Luka excels in 1v1’s or switch defense. Boston doesn’t blitz which is the best way to defend Luka so either their pride will be their downfall or they will have to go out their comfort zone
That's what I'm saying. Have Boston defend teams better or equivalent to the Dallas Mavericks? I argue they haven't
