Well, I cannot agree with poetic story, it's hugely generic with bad characters, but the theme and the art takes the cake and it alone brings it from 6/10 to 9.5/10. Again, not a perfect score as the base story is meh.

Demon Slayer is a work of art- Its an anime that shows you dont need a complex story to be impactful. This anime has had me feeling the most emotion out of any others ive watched. Spoiler: Especially when Rengoku dies. Something as simple as him dying with a smile on his face knowing he made his mother proud is enough to make me cry in both sadness and pride. The characters are likable: Ill be super sad to See characters like Obanai, Mitsuri, Shinobu, Gyomei and Muichiro die. The animation is beautiful aswell All the haters can go suck one because they cant process the fact you dont need complex stories and characters to have a good anime
