    As a hardcore SlaughterHouse fan, I must share that there are key elements that are missing in the conversation.
    I.) Nino Bless
    II.) The 1st tour
    III.) JumpoffTV aka JoeBudden TV
    IV.) SlaughterMOUSE
    V.) The dynamic of the group
    VI.) I am, in a literal sense, a Day 1 SlaughterHouse fan. Our House, wasn’t the greatest thing of all time, but I enjoyed it a lot.
    VII.) SlaughterHouse is never coming back and that saddens me because I felt like they were barely getting started. [+]

      I feel your pain bro. I heard there second album was hoing to be produced by Just Blaze. The track they did with Premiere was amazing. And that BET Cypher was so hood they made everyone rap on the same beat the next year.

      Our House is great n Nino Bless would never make the cut he didnt have the pedigree n similar history n background that the members had in common

    • @elplebeuchiha1996
      @elplebeuchiha1996 4 года назад

      Dewayne Darmanie, Nino Bless had a verse on the track, SlaughterHouse. He wasn’t able to do the tour, the SlaughterHouse tour. They did it for the sake of riding the wave/hype of the track made.
      They did the tour and connected with each other, became friends. Then they played around with the idea to form a super group.
      Nino Bless, never was a part of the group because he didn’t go on tour where they found magic. Who knows. Maybe if he did they would not have bonded like they did. Maybe he would have joined perfectly with them. He’s important to the narrative because of his presence and then absence is evidence that them 4 had a unique chemistry. Context is everything because the devil is in the details. [+]

    • @elplebeuchiha1996
      @elplebeuchiha1996 4 года назад +3

      Microphone Don, EXACTLY! Their 3rd album, 2nd on Shady was going to be a return to form and much more introspective. Then who knows what else they could have done, but Joe ruined that. Again, the dynamics of the group is important.
      Royce is/was the dedicated but laidback MC.
      Crooked is/was the most business savvy and true hustler.
      Ortiz was the daydreaming former dope dealer.
      Budden was the wildcard.
      Royce reconnected with eM. Crooked practices good business applications. Ortiz just wants to make music. Budden didn’t know how to make the situation better without acting a fool. [+]

    Eminem was a bad ceo artist like Diddy and jay z. No one talks about it except Joe Budden half assed. He took some of the best lyricists in the country and shelved them by trying to make them sound a bunch of Eminem’s . They still kiss his ass till this day and claim he’s the best when some of them made better projects than him. They defend Eminem like he’s a god and the best, and all they get is always being underrated.

    I'm a huge Em fan but Em sucks at promoting and handling his artist the only two successful artist he had was 50 and Yela. Yela has the radioactive album where Em was heavily involved and wasn't well received, the next Yela albums were better because Em was less involved

    • @akaspon1
      @akaspon1 4 года назад +3

      How do you know how much Eminem IS or IS NOT involved though? Maybe artists don't always want an Eminem nod? I mean, did you need Jay-z constantly telling you to buy J Cole albums or did he build a fan base and the label did their job by giving him the means to make it and the resources to actually sell it? The common denominator cannot always be the most popular artist associated with a label. It's still Interscope at the end of the day.

    • @pbm2324
      @pbm2324 4 года назад +3

      @@akaspon1 it is felt on the production. IDK about 50 but for example Yela, Radioactive sounded commercial but if you look at the other Yela albums like Love Story and Trial By Fire and more they sound way different like Yela was more in charge of those albums that's why they sound less poppy and more of yelawolf style, same with slaughterhouse, their first album were under E1 Label their second album under Shady records if you notice the song Microphone from their 1st album and My Life from their second album you will notice a HUGE difference, their album under Shady records sounds "poppy"
      Now he got boogie on the label and he dropped Everything for Sale on the Shady records label and the album is dope 🔥 but Boogie it's a rapper who has nothing to little promotion that's why you don't hear his name much reason why I said he kinda sucks at promoting artist.

    What you said at the end of the video is true it doesn’t have to be true for every group, Tha Dogg Pound’s new album is being very well received but look how many albums they put out in the past 15 years that went completely under the radar.
    Slaughterhouse was one of my favorite groups of all time I think all four members are top-tier lyricist . I often spend time sitting around thinking “damn wouldn’t it be dope if these people got back together and put out an album and this person put out an album again and then this other group did and they all went on tour like they did back in the day.”
    There’s a reason why that never happens. We all remember the golden age of our fandom in hip-hop. As much as I love the West Coast, I know Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube can all drop a solo album within two months of each other that could be very good albums but they’re not going to be on top like they were in the first half of the 90s.
    That in hip-hop is not a genre that really respects its legends that well. Once you’re more than a couple years old the fans throw you away. Most of slaughterhouses fans are in their late 30s and early 40s. They’re not the same people they were 14 years ago anymore. a lot of them have careers and families getting psyched up an album dropped from an artist they listen to a decade and a half ago probably isn’t gonna be a big deal to them anymore and the current generation doesn’t like anything that sounds good so who would buy the album?
