Sunny did his undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Oxford University. Sunny was also a 2019 Fellow at Harvard University. You are really doing these children a favour, oh and your business too.😉 I remember this whole process when I was at high school. We had a careers' room with prospectuses. A computer room. And that was it. I was at boarding school and noone, parents or teachers, guided us through how to choose or present applications to unis. It did help that it was a competitive academic and sporting environment where we were taught self-discipline, excellent manners, a work ethic, caring about and taking responsibility for our immediate and wider communities. We just had to make our own way from there. Platforms like this are really opening up the academic world to curious and ambitious children from diverse backgrounds, and that is excellent.

Unfortunately we do not have any particular recommendations. Because personal statement does not rely on one book. However there is a lot of useful guides online, and of course our RUclips channel

Is the process the same as other universities like Imperial College London or is it different to other universities like King's College London or Queens Mary University?
Yes, all of these colleges use UCAS application and thereby the process is very similar.
The part that says that IB qualifications are direct entry... It means that if you have the diploma you are accepted or also depends of the grades that the career requires

Hi, Sunny! I was wondering if you could make one about postgrad, specifically master’s programmes at UCL. I am ready to apply now for taught masters but I am a bit hesitant to contact the research advisor I am interested in. Many people online (students & profs) are saying emailing the professor is not worth it if I’m just doing a master’s. I had emailed the office admin before and she said students are encouraged to contact prior to application. What do you think?

Hi I jus applied to ucl for pharmacy although my predicted grades are BBB but I'm hoping to get selected through the access course which lowers the grade boundaries from AAB to BBB . So do u think there's a chance I'll be accepted THROUGH the access course . 😭

UCL doesn’t specifically bias international students and they accept many international qualifications.
Yh I got rejected by UCl idk y maybe GCses I only got one 9 hurt a bit but realised I got an offer from Loughborough but it would have been nice to get an offer from UCl

Make sure you get grade 6/B in English Language and Maths. It's a minimum requirement for UCL.
For ucl Bartlett architecture, because it is really competitive, is the score or the ps that is more important? Cuz the entry a level is AAb, but most people I have known got the offer got at least A*A*A. Is it still possible to get into the course with only AAB ( if my ps really stands out ? 😰

UCL accepts a range of international qualifications which they can use to assess your suitability. We would recommend checking their website for more info on the specifics

when the teachers need to write the reference? I found in the UCL web page that in the aplication we only type their names, address, phone and e-mail but not asks for upload the reference
Usually the teachers receive an email that requests them to upload the reference directly
@@aandjschool that's bad. I mean, what suggestion can you give us about the references if we are applying for more than one Uni? I think the teachers would get really angry to do that more than once.
They usually receive only one email because UCAS uses the same reference for each uni within the system

Certain other qualifications can be used as well
I used google conversion for word count and wrote a 3-page personal statement! is that gonna get me rejected?
Well there is a limit for word count and above that it may not be even considered to read further

Thanks for the answer, I want to ask, as I would like to study architecture, do you think is better wait 1 year and apply to UCL or start this year and apply for others universities? Is UCL the best as I hear for study that course? UCL is certainly a great school to study Architecture. We will be releasing a video regarding architecture at UCL shortly, make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss it. Even though UCL is not the most prestigious school, getting in can still be a challenge. With our help you will massively boost your chances of getting in.

Hello! I have just submitted my application to UCL for MSc taught programme. I was always keen to pursue my Msc from UCL however, the past year was extremely unpredictable and given the situation in India, it was very confusing if one should apply for further studies abroad or not. And that's why, I took a little while to apply to UCL (the application deadline is May 31). Do you think applying almost 23 days before the deadline will affect the decision of chances of acceptance?

Yes, absolutely it will. My professor at my current university who works at UCL too said they accept applications on a rolling basis.

I wanted to apply for pharmacy at UCL. However, I don’t really meet the English language requirement, they require a grade 6 but I’ve got a grade 4. Is there any point of applying and would there be a chance of me getting accepted?
You will need to show your english proficiency in some way

You can check that on UCL’s website
They don't for the course I applied for. They require a year of uni. I'm doing A Levels for a year to meet the requirements after matriculating last year but there are a few routes

How many LORs are too many LORs? How many should I approach to?
UCL requires one, however it won’t hurt to submit another one from a teacher relevant to your intended field of study
