Now you know that Ruby was so sad and miserable mourning at her mother's gravestone, that the large pack of beowolves she had to slaughter in the red trailer were there because of her feelings. She drew them there.
Dude I have been a fan of this show from the beginning and never made the connection of her drawing the grim to herself in the trailer. Don't know if that's head-canon or not but it makes complete sense so its canon for me now lol. Thanks friend!

Regarding your question about the grimm attacking in chapter 8. If you recall the deathstalker (scorpion) wasn't attacking but Jaune disturbed its rest, and then Jaune's fear would have encouraged it's rampage. There were quite a mix of emotions in the group so it could have attracted the Nevermore (large bird) to circle around back to the group, especially after Ruby gave the group a fright when she tried to take on the Deathstalker on her own.
Lastly, remember the chapter where Cardin got attacked by the Ursa (bear)? On initially watching you think it's because of the sap Jaune threw on Cardin, but instead it's probably because of all the negativity that Cardin is spewing especially in his tussle with Jaune. Since it goes after Cardin we can assume his hate and jealousy is stronger than Jaune's fear at the moment.
Gold is my favorite RWBY song, more for the context of the song and less about the music.
Gold is Yang comforting her little sister Ruby after their Mother, Summer Rose, died when they were little kids.
The title of Gold refers to the color of Yang's aura which is Gold, or a form of Yellow.

Lamar hall was the rapper he usualy has a section in one song each soundtrack but from here on out he is a bit less sweary still realy good though

The RWBY soundtrack is fire! But try to hold back on listening to volume soundtracks that you haven't seen yet. They definitely contain spoilers and some lyrics fall flat without the proper context. There's one song called "Indomitable" that isn't connected to volume 6 on its soundtrack that was made for Monty. If you want to react to that song early, you won't hear any spoilers. It's probably my favorite song. Just a heads up, it will probably make you cry.

Tell me about it. We haven't even gotten to the dark parts of the show yet, and just about every song slips in a line that says "Get ready bitch, shit is gonna hit the fan."
You'd think a show like this would try to be more subtle. Then again, I guess subtle went out the window when they gave a 15 year old a mechanical scythe twice her size, and also made it a gun.
... Yeah, now that I think about it, this show isn't subtle with anything. It's kinda comedic, honestly.
also, red like roses p.2 played in the episode where rbwy and jnpr fight the giant nevermore and the deathstalker. it starts when nora is sitting on her hammer and launching off of pyrrha's shield

Jeff and Casey Lee Williams are particularly good and giving you a case of the unexpected feels. Also look forward to another great disco song on the V2 soundtrack.

"They should bring back RWBY with full animation" The animation style changes a LOT as the seasons go by. The more recent seasons' animation is about as 'full' as you're gonna get. EDIT: Oh Man! You should note you're doing world of Remnant in the title! Or separate your reaction into a different video. I think you'll get more views on a reaction to that by itself
I dont think they would ever do that though, even though it would be amazing, i think they keep the original style of the 1st 3 seasons because it was montys last project before he died :) so i think keeping the first volumes as they are now is needed for montys passion to be seen and to also let the viewer see how far the show goes considering animation, but i would defo love to see the nevermore fight in their current animation lol xxx
You see quite a few semblance in Volume one. But some characters definitely voluntarily use them more than others by a lot. Some are able to use it secretively while still spamming it so they put opponents at a disadvantage.
Yang is probably the only one on her team you'll see rarely use her semblance. And when she does it's usually as a last resort cause she throws hands first and fights her damndest legitimately before relying on it as soon as possible like most. The obvious tells are the red eyes and glowing hair but sometimes as with comedic moments in V1 this is less of her actual semblance and more of her emotional drive amping up and causing the physical traits on her body to change. If just her eyes glow red it usually just means desperation as explained in her anthology where she explains how natural it is that she doesn't even know when it happens. Just when she feels acts of desperation and retaliation that she knows its likely happening.
And knowing that. Yeah. Seems a bit dark for someone so bright and happy right? Yeah. She pretty good at putting on a mask to make everyone else feel better.
Most of the ost were made by a father daughter duo. And they do the music for most of the series..
Absolutely loved your reaction! Thank you for reacting to the soundtracks and side videos. Its hard for me to not get emotional when I listen to these tracks, myself. The World of Remant videos are particularly good for clearing up some of the basic the show just runs over.

I think RWBY's soundtrack is on rock band. Also the "dirty" version of "I burn" fits yang as I expect her to be the first one of team "rwby" to curse.

What makes me love Gold even more(aside from it being a disco bop) is that is a song from Yang to Ruby.
And what makes Red like roses part 2 more impactful is that Casey sings it with her mom, just like the song is ruby talking with her mom.
and don't worry about your face in that song, it always makes me cry because it makes me think of people I have lost.
My favorite song is red like roses part 2 and my favorite line is one from the mom she says something like, "I made a sacrifice but I forced a bigger sacrifice on you." and I just think it's a great line.

If you think characters are crazy just wait till the villain that you can tell the VA is having full on nucking futs fun going full Mark Hamil's Joker levels of batshit ham comes in. You will know exactly who it is the moment you even see them they vibe so hard with it in every scene.
