Wow, that food section looks amazing! I was a student 15+'ish years ago and it's completely redone. Although it's probably nostalgia (or a idealistic memory of the past), but I prefer how it looked back in the day since it was warmer earthier colours and looked much more cozy and inviting -- but this sleek clean design is also nice too (though it looks much more "typical" of a cafeteria).

The 2 new buildings are tec and korea house! I'm not sure with sherwood but it's not the oldest. I think my building (Okanagan) and Robson was the oldest buildings at vanier

Yes! Actually a lot of ppl asked me about this, but there's no need to by router! The wifi is actually fast and there's no problem. My RA told me that few years ago, wifi was actually slow, but they installed new wifi in the building so now the wifi in the room were good!
