i’m closing out my junior year and taking a step back from some things is a pretty good decision, everything gets focused to college and you really need to start stressing academics a bit more as well as knowing what you wanna do as far as college goes, but it’s still a really fun year somehow 😭. hold on. lets take a minute to think about how Colie literally quit her school dance team for us? she could have 110% just went and quit RUclips, but she knows how much we love her and she loves us. she even was (only just) balancing school, studying, financials, friends and family. she came out clean tho and she told us straight up that it's too much for her physical self and mental health. just remember Colie you have 2.42 million people that love you and care for you or else they wouldn't be subscribed! if you ever feel like it's all too much for you, take a break! it's fine, we all need breaks once in a while. and like you said, in life you need to try new things and this is one of them times in your life! love you colie

this hit home with me. i was on my high school advanced dance team my freshman and sophomore and then junior and senior year i was on the company team. it is a lot to handle, i was in six ap classes overall and 7 honors classes throughout my four years. it was a struggle but my dance coach, kaitlyn, really helped me through it all. i was always taking breaks to focus on school more and she completely understood. leaving this year was so devastating and was the one thing i looked forward to the most. leaving behind any team that you’ve gotten close to over the years is so heartbreaking. even taking breaks and then coming back i felt so guilty. but you’ve got to! it’s better to do things for yourself that you know you need. i couldn’t ignore my passion for dance but i also couldn’t ignore my passion for my future. i love you so much nicole and i completely understand! i hope your next two years are as fun as they were when you were in dance hehe!
