Tough times produce tough individuals........with TOUGH attitudes. I completely comprehend & relate to everything Brooke speaks on in this video. As the saying goes: "It's not the size of the dog in the fight.......it's the size of the fight in the dog". Brooke has an abundance of "fight"......and I'm madly in love with her for that.
Although I'm not a fan of her "music"....I have to say I appreciate her artistic integrity...she seems to know the direction of her journey. That's what life is all about in the end...finding you journey or path and not being afraid to travel it. Her father works as a high ranking employee at Penthouse magazine. When she says "I was homeless for awhile" that actually means that she didn't have her own place at that time. During that time she was living out of her car/living at the houses of older dudes who finically supported her. So was she home-less, kindof. But its safer to say that she was living out of her car. In no way was she living an uncomfortable homeless life nor is it ok that she rejects the fact that her father is in fact a successful high ranking employee in the entertainment industry
there's a picture of lil baby Brooke out in the bums of LA somewhere in Tumblr.. she grew up in the low side of LA. Her father told her that he'd respect her and her decisions when she makes more money than him.

I am laughing so hard. wtf. You're amazing. I had a dream about Brooke Candy a couple times and it's me and her at a party in San Fran and she's got this cool ambiance and we're talking and she says "Do you. As much as I love her very few good songs, she's overrated. Her true uniqueness is ruined by her stupidity when it comes to interviews. She constantly claims that she is the future and all this stuff, but she's literally not doing anything that hasn't already been done before; especially lyrically. The only difference between Brooke and other female rappers is that Brooke does it better, but that's not enough to consider yourself a revolutionary hip-hop icon. And the whole "I give zero fucks" thing, oh please. Spare me. You can't create a career based off the morals of every other teenage angst-y person.
