  • This is a clock that can play your choice of either Westminster or Beethoven's Ode to Joy chimes. Nobody has uploaded what the Ode to Joy chime sounds like every 15 minutes until now.
    Furthermore, this clock has an automatic nighttime silence option, which, when selected, will silence the chimes for eight hours. The other option on this clock is a feature which will cut the volume in half also for eight hours. Depending on when either of those features is selected, the last chime of the day will sound at the quarter of the hour. For example, if you turn on the night silence or night volume feature at 9:50 p.m., the last chime of the day will sound at full volume at 9:45 p.m. and the first chime of the day will sound at full volume at 6 a.m

    Sounds like the Howard Miller Helmsley and Maxwell clocks at my grandparents’ house but only differences is that it has Ave Maria and not Beethoven.

    Does the middle setting in the chime selection say “Melody 2” or “Beethoven’s 9th?”

    Where did you get it?

      I actually got it on Ebay. It's just a matter of looking for what you're looking for, plus being patient.

      How much did you pay for it?

    • @tristangardner3889
      @tristangardner3889  5 лет назад

      Normally, I don't talk about how much I pay for the items, but the clock was only $65, plus shipping and tax. When all was said and done, the total came to almost $81. But it's in great shape, and it still runs great. The only thing I have to worry about at this point is replacing the batteries when the time comes.

      It’s a little pricey but it’s nice to have one of those. I’ll share this video with my grandparents who have the Howard Miller Helmsley.

      Actually, it's a pretty good deal, for these clocks go for at least $200 or so. That's just the actual retail price.
