This is part 2 of the full love story of Olivia Spencer (Crystal Chappell) and Natalia Rivera (Jessica Leccia) on Guiding Light.
This lesbian love story evolves over the course of 2 years of soap opera tv. The writers took the time for them to slowly go from hating eachother to loving eachother. Because of the writing and amount of time they shared the screens together, the characters and the story have a lot of depth to them. What you won't see a lot of in this compilation is physical intimacy. Back in 2008/2009 gay storylines in soaps were still a new thing and the network and sponsors where afraid of backlash. What the actresses couldn't show in physical affection though, they made up for in their very realistic portrayal of emotions, great chemistry and overall great acting. Together with the writers they've created a beautiful love story nonetheless.
This is the second part of their story that starts with Olivia's heart transplant in april 2008 and ends with her cardiac arrest in october 2008. This five hour part shows them grieving over the loss of Gus and taking it out on each other. But over the course of several months they slowly grow closer together and become a very important part in each other's life.

it's so awkward to watch all the sparse sets and ill-timed music cues cbs tried to add to this show at the time. it's like they were literally *trying* to get gl and atwt canceled. all these years later and i'm still bitter about how the network treated such long-running soaps like garbage. bless the actors and the writers for putting their all into these shows. and again, thank you for these uploads.

I’ve never seen this show before, they didn’t show it in Scotland, but as I’ve been watching these I’ve often commented (to myself lol) how odd the sets are. So that wasn’t normal for this show, it grew to be like that?
Regardless, fantastic job well done, now I could watch it properly.
OMG, it's never boring with Otalia...it is amazing that they have collaborated in 4 WLW projects and I wish that there would be more and more projects with such amazing couple❤

She completely transferred her "take care of" instinct from gus to Olivia. What she didn't realize is that doing so would cause her to fall in love with her too.

A good boy doesn’t threaten or shoot someone because things aren’t going their way. There’s no justification for it especially not when it’s truth. Every time they say good boy it makes me cringe. Boo hoo. And eww.
It's like every time Olivia does something halfway decent and Natalia tries to care for her in return she has to knife her where it hurts just so Natalia doesn't accidentally think she has a heart. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Yup. And sometimes those knives were pretty savage ... she would go to rather dark places with it.
they little bicker like an old married couple it’s so crazy and so cute. Their dynamic is so fascinating.
I’m so happy I clicked on this story. I’ve never seen the show, but the circumstances are unfathomable and so are their conversations. I find myself laughing half out of shock, half out of hilarity. Can’t wait to see when it begins to change.
Their story is amazing. One of my favorites of all times. With all the limitations they had, the result was great. Those two were born to play Olivia and Natalia.
I LOVE Olivia rescuing Natalia from the sleazy lawyer.
For some reason the fact that Crystall is married to that actor irl took the edge off of the sleaze ... knowing he (hopefully) is a decent person vs the sleaze he so convincingly portrayed ...
YES and the fact that it's her husband made it even better. Filming that scene must have been so much fun haha

Rafe is out of control. He blames Olivia for getting his father’s heart, when his father dies. That is very sad, but Gus loved Olivia in his own way as a good friend. He wanted to save her. It didn’t matter to him what happened to him, just that he wanted her to have his heart.
Rafe Aitoro, the most annoying "good kid" in the history of soap operas. What an awful character.

i’ve never heard of this show before and just finished part 1. Since I also never interacted with the fandom I NEED TO KNOW… I’m not the only one who thinks Olivia has been so unreasonable with the whole “give me your husband” thing and the way she acted like natalia was the bad guy in all of this, right???? I thought I was a pretty understanding person, but damn, natalia is setting the bar very high
ok right after i commented she was like “I want your wedding rings” so there’s no way other people don’t find her unhinged 💀😂
That’s what you get when you have a very damaged person in a soap opera who thinks she’s about to die and has no control over the situation when control is all that’s kept her going for do long 😉
But the people in this story change a lot and the way you feel about both of them will switch back and forth throughout this story 😆
They’ll even out in the sweet and shit department eventually.

However there are several accounts here on youtube who have uploaded old episodes. If you type in General Hospital + a certain year, they easily pop up. You might wanna check that out.

The discrepancies in the earlier parts are so confusing Ava was called a Peralta then they turned around and called her Lewis… we go back now toNatalia being called aitoro for maybe two episodes and she’s back to Rivera randomly.
A few other things
Jeffrey was a twat waffle when Ava lost her baby.
Natalia was so self righteous and pretentious and rude. And then she wasn’t and I was confused because she rally s act bipolar with livia
Olivia was miserable and broken. But she wasn’t terrible, just hurting and I am happy I get to see these other clips because I never saw them before now. I never believed Gus’s heart is what spurned Olivia’s good deeds she’s genuinely a good person she just.. struggles

In an amazing turn of events though the insane sarcasm Olivia exudes the more intimate moments between her and Natalia. Just.. a complete 180. And then my absolute favorite line which shows the change

I’ve just checked the spanish subtitles and scrolled through the video. On my end they work throughout the whole video. Maybe it was a glitch. Try reloading the video and turning the subtitles off and on again.

I can't say. The editing is time consuming, I don't have a lot of time and there are always problems that show up that aren't easy to fix. I don't wanna make false promises. I can tell you that I've edited 4 out of the 5 hours of the 5th video so far. Progress is slow, but there is progress.

Literally 1:26:00 the romantic music??? Hello???? Its always this same fuxking song???? Wym this was by accident, the sound ppl were definitely shipping them from the start
They rehash a lot of the music through the months. There were definitely a lot of clues in the music about where this was going. There were a lot of small things they did on purpose that gave away some of what was to happen.
With music my favorite was clean slate that was used in some of the most significant scenes (olivia telling doris how great natalia is, the graveyard scene, a little instrumental in a scene at the spa en even in a sweet scene between Gina/Ani in the second season of venice with references to otalia).
From what I have read, it was planned from way back when ...
I never liked otalia and Olivia's relationship!
