I was having an F40 stradale on which I was installing a Tuby style exhaust, then after a technical control in Luxemburg where this beast was registered, I went back to Paris by the highway, around 280 km quite quick, the flams from exhaust were burning the back plate and I discovered at the toll arriving in Paris alarted by a guy following me that the plastic support and the plate were completely burnt and leacking at the back!!
This is by far my favorite Ferrari, and as a kid I always dreamt of one. Still ome of my favorites to this day for obvious reasons. Thank you for sharing this!

That moment when you realise your BMW M140i (manual) is running around the same bhp with more torque. It’s insane how far cars have come in terms of development since then. For clarity, I just mean how crazy it is that this kind of power is so readily accessible in a fairly normal car. I’d love to see how my car and the F40 would compare on a straight road. In the corners it would probably disappear 😂 What an awesome video, this is an absolute dream car of mine.

Definitely not the best sounding Ferrari ever, but certainly the best sounding turbo car ever. Well, the F40 in general. This exhaust is WAY too popcorn-y.
I agree. Non stop burble is a bit too rice for any car, let alone an F40. Probably the Tubi exhaust that contributed to the excess popping
Idk, I'm a fan of the crazy burbling. But, I think the F40 makes up for so much in the turbo noise and the engine sound!

He probably lifted off the throttle to let the blue porsche pass and it looks like its running a little rich at a certain spot, probably due to the exhaust mods.
Very nice vid but its painful to watch how this beauty is driven. All bad grips on the steering wheel, mile-long brake distances, early upshifts… 😢
