@cindynylove I think its make-up. This interview looks like it was shot behind the scenes of 1x05 which was the episode where Damon was locked in the Salvatore basement and he was all weak and hungry.

Ian's really good at being bad; he's convincing, which is what this show needs. I've seen so many shows where I just think, "Oh, please", cuz the bad guy just doesn't click for me. At least Damon actually puts chills down the spine. If it was just a bunch of parading around w/ a little growl here and there, I'd be disappointed.

It does seem like Damon and Elena are going to be hanging out in the next episode...which I'm really excited about. But I don't really have any guesses. I just want it to be time for the new episode!!
