your HAIR omg you look so gorgeous! i was just recommended solaris based on my (frankly desperate) desire to find books with sentient settings, so i'm looking forward to hearing if you like it! and oof i hope you like the man in the high castle because i.... really did not lmao i'm glad you're taking time off to take care of yourself
I'm sorry that you've had to miss university because of your concussion. I've missed long periods of school due to chronic illness it took me an extra three years to finish school and during that time it was the most frustrating thing in the world as someone who loved school. I hope you just continue to be kind to yourself as you need it and deserve it even when you feel as if your body is betraying you. I've not been doing much though I did sew a pair of shorts which I'm very proud of as I haven't sewn anything in maybe 10 years.
I so happy that I found you a few weeks ago. Your channel its a amazing an I find myself binge watching through this weird time. You help me so much on the daily bases that I can't thank you enough for being who you are and shining your light through the camera. Much love to you
aweee please take care and do whats best for you and your health!!! i love your hair, it honestly rreally suits you !!! happy birthday !!! your nan is so sweet getting you the shelf, so happy to see a video from you on my feed xxx
I’m so glad you’re back my sundays felt lacking without the vlogs!! I’m glad you’re feeling better!! As for reading, I finished a book yesterday and was left weeping at 3AM. I reaaaallly think you should read it. You would *love* it. It’s called “Please Look After Mom” and it’s korean literature!! You will love it I really hope you can pick it up. See you for our Shakespeare discussion💕
I'm so happy you're back. And your hair looks great! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about The Silk Roads, it's been on my radar for a while.
So happy you are back ! 🌟☁️ happy belated birthday 🎂🧚🏽♀️💕 also love love love your new hair it suits you so well 💃🏽 I went on a mini road trip yesterday with family and we went through Niagara Falls , Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharines and ended the day in Stratford which was magical and really put me in a Shakespeare mood 🤩☁️
Wow Emma you look lovely! I think this hair really suits your personality :D I actually cut my hair not long ago too! It’s also very short but i didn’t do that good of a job as you, as it’s longer at the back...😳 the setup looks amazing, I love the new shelves :) I hope you’re doing well ❤️ I must say you look like a princess in this video and the necklace just tops it off!
Missed you so much!!! 💕 Can't wait to discuss If We Were Villians ahhh!!! I just picked up my copy of Mexican Gothic and it sounds amazing! I'm so excited! 📖🖤 A Midsummer Night's Dream!!!! Oh my goodness I'm so glad you're enjoying it!!! ✨ Sending you loads and loads of love!!! Xoxo P.S. LOVE YOUR HAIR AND LOVE THE BOOKSHELVES!!!
Love your hair and your shelves and happy to see that you are doing well and taking your time to rest and heal 🖤. I listened to the audiobook of Mexican Gothic on libby and it was such a delight! Is not a perfect book but the writing is beautiful, the slow-burn build-up of the story is very atmospheric, classic and modern at the same time and just a fun reading experience! Guillermo del Toro should make the movie adaptation. It gave me Crimson Peak and Carlos Enrique Taboada’s Hasta el viento tiene miedo (Even the wind is afraid, 1968) vibes! Plus, I’m always grateful as a Mexican to see us portrayed as normal people on normal towns and cities (instead of the US version of a dangerous sepia dry town 😆)
i love love your necklace! where is it from? i'm so sorry about your head - anything like that can take so long to heal & just requires a lot of patience which you seem to be allowing it xx
4:05 You have no imperfections, the new camera just proves it. This was such a lovely video, I hope you had a great birthday and everything, it sounds like you have a really great August lined up. Your hair looks wonderful btw.
first, love your hair and second i cant wait for the next video, great concept and would be really helpful to get to know more books and people . wish you well
Ahhh! I love the hair, and the camera change looks great too! I hope you’re feeling okay! I just finished Mr. Fox by Helen Oyeyemi and oh my god I’m curious as to what you would think of it! I loved it.
You and my sister are birthday twins lol (happy late birthday).. your voice is so calming and your videos are so cozyyyyy I love you so much. Your hair is just amazinnggg you look so adorable. The camera quality is perfect :) I have a few books I recommend for you .. one hundred days of sunlight by Abbie Emmons. She has a RUclips channel too what if Anna and Elsa never knew each other conceal don’t feel a twisted tale by Jen Calonita Night Rise by Anthony Horowitz The storm keeper’s Island by Catherine Doyle .. these are all novels and fiction books I’m writing a novel right now and it’s going really good actually .. and for July nanowrimo 2020 I won on the 20th and I’m so happy about it ... love you
Hapoy belated birthday! 🎉 You look amazing with short hair! Personally i'm like Samson, i lose all my powers if i cut my hair lol. I didn't know it could take so long to recover from a concussion, i hope you're feeling better. I began to read Farewell, my lovely by Raymond Chandler and i'm loving it. Yes to those live chats!
Happy belated birthday!! I'm so glad you are feeling better. It's really nice to see you here again 💕 I am currently reading Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy, which is really really interesting in terms of personal introspection, manipulation and social intricacies. Take care Emma. Have a nice day (◍•ᴗ•◍)
Hope you are doing well, I love the hair it matches you really well. I noticed that you really like the classical world and I do recommend H.A. Geurber's Classical Mythology (the story of Cupid and Psyche are my favorites as well as Orpheus and Eurydice) as well as her Tales of Norse Mythology (the story of how Thor got his hammer back is hilarious). I would also include Edith Hamilton's Mythology which is a good introduction into Greek and Roman mythology. Roger Lancelyn Green's Heroes of Greece and Troy is a really good addition as well his account of the Trojan war is superb as well as his elongation of the stories of Heracles including his wrestling of Death (Thanatos). For Yeats I recommend his Irish Folk and Fairy Tales book (not the biggest fan of fairy and folk tales if I am being honest but I do love the story about this man drinking a merrow (mermaid) under the table and rescuing souls it had taken from drowned sailors) as well as T.W. Rollestone's (who was a friend of Yeats) Celtic Myths and Legends which gives an insite to the old Celts of Ireland as well as their myths and legends. The book also includes the original Celtic Arthurian legends as well as their original names and family trees (My favorite story in the book is the sad love story of Oisin and Nym (a bit similar to Orpheus and Eurydice)). The books both go hand in hand beautifully well especially because if you pay close attention, you can spot similarities between the folk and fairy tales with the myths of the pagan past. If you really end up loving that Silk Roads book then I recommend In Defence of the Terror by Sophie Wahnick which, despite what the name suggests, does not defend the terror, it only explains why the terror realistically happened based off of the events leading to the Revolution in France as well as why other regimes in other countires, similar to the Jacobins in France, become so extreme such as Cuba, Russia, etc. Another one is The Coming of the French Revolution by Georges Lefebvre which chronicles the complex system of France before the revolution as well as the events that led up to the revolution. They are both amazing reads about the French revolution including Edmund Burke's Reflections on the Revolution in France which is a book/letter where Edmund is responding to man in France who asked Burke what he felt about the revolution in France.
oh emmie welcome back it's so good to see you!! Also your hair: Y E S
