A college student wants to sell his old books on Craigslist. After listing all his old books, one evening he got a message from a person who wants to buy. At first, he thought the person might be also a student like him, but little did he know, things began to take a disturbing turn.

What a rip off college textbboks are! You pay an outrageous price, then get about 1/3 of the original price if you sell them back to the college bookstore. Sometimes I couldn't afford all of my books at the beginning of the semester.
I don't know if the books are offered online now (no need to buy a hard copy). It has been many years since I was in college, so hopefully things have changed.
I'm a huge nerd. I still have my books from 25 years ago 😂. Paid a lot for knowledge. They make great reference books so I don't forget.

I’ve been selling on CL for almost 20 years now - met ppl in all sorts places and even late at night. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. Common sense is what matters. If it feels wrong it probably is wrong.

Last story sounds like complete bs. NYPD can’t compel you to hand over a phone for no reason and taking photos of ANYONE in public is legal.
If a police officer walked up to most people and said hand that over, they are going to hand it over. And the author was a witness to the direction of the camera and knew it was suspicious. So, this story is definitely true.
It’s so funny how so many of these videos are titled wrong. Like this one says THREE stories. Such an odd thing to overlook
If you listen carefully you will find out only 3 stories are Craigslist related and other 2 not :)
