Finally a Premium Economy cabin where it is actually premium. Other airlines just offer slightly bigger seats but you get all the same stuff from regular economy including the same meals. Glad to see Emirates make it a real difference.
That's what passengers need. Extra leg room in minimum cost.
If they wanted other luxury.
They would choose business class.
Airlines must keep the price of premium economy low.
Because Price sensitive economy class travelers are the target market for premium economy.
They need premium economy for comfort.
Business class travelers don't seek premium economy as they can afford business class.

The line at the end was Brutally Honest..."It's a little more, but so worth it!". The class and comfort of emirates is very good and the crew is always great!
Standard economy should be like this. And premium could be low cost lie flat seats. ( no fancy food etc ). Also airlines should start weighing passengers based on total weight ( their body plus luggage weight ).

Emirates doing everything they can to bring the glamour and glitz of flying back: great food, actual silverware, real plates, real glasses, nothing pre-wrapped or packaged. Really happy to see it. Hopefully other major airlines will soon follow in your stead.

Emirates, I'm very happy to see that. The general glamour slowly disappeared in aviation after the 80's, I'd say... And I'm very glad to see that Emirates is improving its premium economy class to bring the glamour "back".
Not actually improving their economy class. Rather providing an additional option, Premium Economy, between economy and business claasses
@@lynnwood4421 Yeah, I forgot to add premium. I said that because even the premium economy isn't that great in general... And seeing all that improvement by some investiment is very nice. I'll edit the main one, thanks for telling me that.
The glamour didn't disappear, it's still there in first class. There only was a not so glamorous economy class added, as passengers were asking for lower fares, what led to more seats per squaremeter and a no frills product.
Looks like Emirates are making such a big progress than other companies.
Still a crappy airline. I prefer Etihad

No so much progress on the supplied head phones though is it , they are the same as in standard economy .

Not sure about progress, their Premium Economy seat isn’t exactly innovative, being the same basic off the shelf design used by BA for World Traveller Plus if I’m not mistaken.
Emirates makes flying like how it used to be, an adventure. All the US carriers make flying like riding a bus with a seat in the back next to the toilet.

In the 90s, this type of service and food quality was easily found on Cathay Pacific and even North West Airlines on a long haul for economy. Food was served with stainless steel cutlery, blankets, pillows and headsets were free of charge. Heck, you could even ask for a brand new pack of playing cards to keep. Yes, it didn't have quilted seats or that extra couple of inches of leg room but economy really wasn't bad at all. How times have changed for the worst.
Wow! I do not expect this high standard from Premium Economy! Simply push the bar up for everything!!
Emirates is my All time Favourite. My Mother works for Emirates from Past 17 Years. Love the Company. Love their service. Its always a 100/100 for me ❤️❤️

They treat their staff like slaves !
They’ve had this on routes to LHR for about 6 months plus. You couldn’t purchase an upgrade but as a gold skywards member I got it free 4 flights in a row. It’s definitely worth the upgrade from economy but you wouldn’t trade down from business. All in all though a great product.

Emirates is always setting the standard and it has been this way for a VERY long time. From their main hub in Dubai, to their ground staff and air crew, they strive for excellent customer experiences that that invigorate your senses. A slogan for them should be "Emirates, it's home away from home".

I love emirates. Hope they bring Premium Economy to Dubai to Frankfurt flights. I fly this route 4 times a year and it would be awesome and more comfortable. Looking forward to it.

Still a long way to reach the service levels of far eastern carriers though .
Definitely would give premium economy a try. I normally travel business class on long flights over 6hrs and Economy for less than 5hrs. Emirates premium economy has a nice balance so would definitely try this for a 3hr-5hr long flight.
It was indeed a good trip on my way from the Phil to Dubai and Manchester.i do love to fly again and again the Emirates!The crews are friendly, accomodating, service is good esp the food. you really feel soo relax inside the plane.

So long as you have 3x the price of the economy ticket to do it. Many years ago First class (which was on par with Singapore-air premium economy) was 1.5x the price of economy class. Now it is 3x.

I’ve traveled Economy EVERY time I’ve been on Emirates, and the experience, from even the first time I flew with the airline, was amazing! Of course, you have more limited options in the economy, and the seats are more cramped up (since they structure their seating in a plane in the economy as a 3 - 4 - 3 seat configuration. But it is still great. In my eyes, if you compare Emirates economy to another international airline, economy class in Emirates will seem like Premium economy or maybe even first class, depending on the airline you compare it to.
@@parentcookie . I flew Emirates economy from Manchester to Sydney via Dubai yesterday . It’s no better or worse than many of the other carriers , it’s very average to be honest , and needs to up its game if it’s to be regarded as a leading service airline .

Business Class looked just like this 30 years ago. Nowadays, flat beds are a must in long haul business, and this is a standard premium economy product, using the same basic seat design as some other airlines such as BA.
@@NaenaeGaming This looks well above the standard premium in American, Delta or KLM. As you say is the business class of the 90s with a narrower seat. I will definitely give it a try when travelling on my own pocket.

Not really. Business class used to cost 3x the price of economy. Now business is 5x the price and premium economy is 3x the price.

Singapore air is better. Ive done 30 return flights from UK to Aus on many of the big airlines. SIA is still better than the rest, including Emirates.

Seat comfort on A380, yes. Try the Y class on the 777. It is not outstanding at all.

As a frequent flyer myself, I always see Emirates as a leading 5 star airline, when will Skytrax evaluate their efforts and establishments and reward them with that 5 star status.
When they get rid of those 10 across economy seating 777s. A 13 hour night flight rubbing shoulders and arms with your fat neighbour is awful.
