I don’t think so. The fact that Goku is a idiot is what makes him so strong. If he was as smart as Reed then he’d be constantly overthinking his next move. Goku as a character just flows in his fights and that in turn has made him a genius in fighting. He doesn’t need intelligence in all areas he only needs to know how to fight.

Though it is implied they did receive technology from the Frieza empire they did manage to understand it which likely means that Saiyans are capable of fairly complex thoughts. The prime examples of saiyans we have are Goku and Vegeta who are both warrior types, however, DBS Broly proved that Saiyans existed that weren’t purely dedicated to fighting.
I feel like Goku's personality would be altered or changed to be a little smarter, and less forgiving unless they make Goku like a OG Hulk where he just run hands with anybody

Goku if he kept his personality would fight everyone. Now this could easily lead to his death or make him even stronger than ever. His saiyan ability to grow stronger as he fights more powerful foes would really help here though I’m sure some of the high tiers could take him down with no difficulty

@@DocGoon the marvel universe works differently from the Dragon Ball universe when it comes to how strength is acquired and that philosophy would play into the character. I could imagine Goku just dropping Thor’s hammer because he thinks he’s bored of it, and then getting his butt kicked so that he gets a zenkai boost, he’d probably start training after that, which I’m sure there’s many ways for him to train.
One thing people don't talk about a lot is that Goku can read the hearts of others, and know if they are bad or not like in the DBS Broly movie. Where he said he knew Broly wasn't a bad guy.

That’s actually interesting, there seems to be more super hero theme universes after the theme started appearing in the east, there’s probably other super hero themed universes but for some reason marvel and DC are the most known. There’s some super hero looking characters from things like black horse comics.

Also, average feats wouldn't exactly be his best feats. Take those into account and the battle swings more for sentry than goku.

I’ve actually made a Marvel Power Grid for Goku. So far, I think in regards to his intelligence, it seems normal in regards to academics (though he might struggle as it’s 50/50), but is a genius when it comes to fighting. His strength, speed and durability is pretty much off the charts whether it’s with or without energy enhancements or transformations; can lift objects bigger than his own size, move much faster than they can perceive or react, is durable as long as his focus or energy isn’t waning, practically bulletproof without augments, etc. His energy projection is derived on spiritual energy, or chi, in both destructive and defensive purposes and can range from long-distanced energy blasts to protective barriers. He also attains god-like essence which increases his overall fighting abilities at a cosmic level. As for his fighting ability, he has been fighting in the art of combat even after bumping his head since his youth as it came naturally to his love of fighting. Others say who interpreted it is as it goes: 2 in intelligence (5 in fighting), 7 in strength and speed, 5 in durability (6 with energy enhancement), 5 or 6 in energy projection, and 6 in fighting ability. I could go over them to be a bit more accurate on his powers and abilities as it seems fit for a Saiyan raised on Earth.

I'd explain Sentry being in the Dragonball universe either by being hit so hard in a fight with the hulk he crash lands in the city, but managed to use his reality warping to ressurect people AND fix the city, which attracts the attention of the Z fighters.
To make it where he was always in the dbu I'd make him be injured in the fight between beerus and God goku in battle of gods, a victim of collateral damage between the 2. Hes been near the edge of death for months but refuses to die, as he feels he needs to be there for his friends ans family. Beerus takes note of the mans internal strength and decides to give him a special drink, a cocktail of the gods, this revives the man and makes him incredibly powerful, but the side effects of the drink is it gives the man the urge to destroym The internal struggle fractures his mind into 2 opposing sides, 1 that embodies his BEST traits and the other embodies his worst.
His strength shifts with his conviction and confidence, and the more good deeds he does, the stronger sentry becomes, but the more bad he does, the stronger void becomes.

Idk why people think goku is a dumbass yea he’s not book smart but in a fight his intelligence is surprisingly high. Goku can tell whether he has a chance against someone just by sensing their energy and looking at them, if he was weaker he would train instead of fighting . He could even make up a new technique just to beat someone like when he did the warp kamehame against cell or the destructo disks against Jiren to knock him out of bounds the first and second time. He has shikamaru lvl strategy skills whenever he needed to used his head to win goku was a beast thats all im saying.

my thing is in dragon ball when your power/ki increases doesn't that usually equate to their speed as well? when Gohan transformed into ssj2 his speed increased along with his strength or when Goku got his god form his speed and strength increased, so if goku has multiversal power(arguably in base or in lower ssj forms) wouldn't his speed also scale to that. narratively that's how its been and through past zenkai boosts this happens. I thought that would make him easily above any base Thor or surfer, but my knowledge on Thor and surfer is limited so someone educate me lol, you could argue goku would be a very high tier martial artist in the marvel verse.
