    I had a white one . Bought it in Sweden. When I lived there . Very nice to drive and great for going over and back to ireland on trips. Never let me down, although first gear was a bit hard to get. Nobel car😢

    These are becoming a rarity in Sweden Due to so many being used back in the -90s to build rally cars and Folkrace. So many used for parts.

    I HAVE OWNED MY 2004 SAAB 95 WAGON/ESTATE SINCE 2008. It's my 5th Saab; 2 wagons, 2 hatchbacks and one sedan (MEH). The 9-5 still runs great though lots of nagging mechanical/electric issues, but I hate to part with it. I used to work on it, but at near 75, not into that anymore. If you want a car in Ft Lauderdale to revive, Im your man

    5:13, that's the gear shifter linkage, not the sensor... The sensor stays on the engine. Why make stuff up like that?

    What a beautiful car. Sounds like low mileage, too. My daily driver is a 1990 240DL estate with the automatic. Ma bought it new when she turned 60 which explains the auto gearbox. Arthur is now sitting at 393,000 miles and going strong. One thing to remember with these cars is that the wagons use a different size of tyre. Originally a 185R14 was fitted. After 91, and in older cars needing tyres, the correct size is 195/75R14 unless you run a 15 inch wheel, in which case you need a 296/65R15. I run Michelin Defender 94H on mine. Nice that they are English made.

    I love & still drive my 04' VW Passat GL Wagon (estate). With its 5-Speed transmission and 1.8T AWM motor even 230k on the clock and the sleeper doesn't sip any oil between changes. Strong and dependable if yuh know the weak points & maintain. Being that it was made at the time of custom systems on the side and excess of speed I have about 2k of continous power running through the two sets of component speakers and sub(s) depending on my mood. 😉

    8:32 Did he need to use like 5kg of body filler to smooth out that rear quarter after welding the new wheel arch in like that? Overlapped with gaps all over like that is a massive rust trap.

    • @AaroKeipi
      @AaroKeipi Год назад +1

      I was just thinking that. It's easier to use spot welding rather than butt welding on a panel like that, but it will likely start rusting under the filler within a few years.

    For the injector test...! Hooking up a remote stater and putting the individual injectors in Milk Bottles. Then watching the spray Pattern while you operate the remote starter, is a better test...! 🤔🤔😇😇⚡⚡
