I was about 16 when I first saw them at CBGS in the 90s. A few months later I saw Daniel Higgs outside CB's again and I said, "Hey! Lungfish dude! I love your band." (ha ha, I was a teenager). I remembered him being gracious and friendly. That first performance was so impacting for me that I feel like I still carry with me almost 30 years later.
One of the greatest and one of the most important bands of all time to me. I feel very fortunate to have been listening since the beginning and to have seen them many many times. Regret not getting tattooed by Daniel when I had the chance.
THIS IS SICK! hey, I listen this band 5 years and I really out of my mind when I am catching Higgs Frequencies. He is talking about future, since, biology in songs and also I cannot miss that Asa Osborne is geniues guitarist, I mean all of them!! AMAZING DUDES!! Damn unique!!!
Thanks for putting this together. It's so great! I remember hearing the story on The Signal soon after I moved to Baltimore. I was blown away then, but it's even better hearing it again now with the visuals.
Starting at 17:07 this is something I've been trying to put into words for quite a while now and he explains it succinctly. So glad to have discovered this band and this video, thank you.
Wow, this is incredible. What an incredibly wise artist. I'd say he's one of those fairly underground artists who've just rises to that level of prophet, much like Anton Newcombe or sometimes certain members of the Flaming Lips. I admire the fact that he's bewildered at where the music comes from, because I find the same thing occurring with the poetry I write. Thank you for this.

I was at that show in the beginning of the video. It’s Upstairs at Nicks in Philly. Great show! Good to see footage of it all these years later.
Indescribable perfection. What I would do to experience a live show..
What I would do too see them live again. Greatest unknown band of all time and thankfully so.
Best band in this quadrant of the Galaxy
wow! thanks for doing this!!!
This is awesome. One of the greatest bands ever.
Rainbows From Atoms- one of my favorite recordings

Very cool. I would love to philosophize with that man.

Great. I wonder if that guitar at 10:11 is the Univox copy I gave to Asa or if it's the real thing. don't know if he ever got that Unixox up to snuff.
Wow......I mean, this is just.....wow.
Thank you. Than----------------k You! XoXoX...
Fantastic interview. I am going to watch this again right now.

Daniel Higgs is an iconic performer and artist, a rugged individualist & he actually had tattoos before they became trendy.
is it realistic to hope for the full hours of tape without songs on the background?
