Yes it can be. Also for a family of three and even 4 if you don't have to carry luggage. The seats at the back are pretty comfortable for two people. It's rwd and smaller engine so has better milage too for daily commute. Has better visibility and hence easier to drive in bumper to bumper traffic. People are saying its not family vehicle in mob mentality without even using it as such. Keep an open mind and you can use it the way you want to.
The hand rest in the middle of front seats actually looks good and seems an easy installation because it goes inside the cup holders! Brother where can I buy this ?

Thar was designed as open roof vehicle. Keeping safety and threat of fuel being stolen it has manual operation.
Same can be installed after market. costing is not more than 2000/-
