I am still using old thundeal td90 which I bought for sth like 60$. I am searching for some upgrade but I thought that soon we will see some cheaper 1080p laser projectors ... Probably best upgrade option is formovie dice for 399$... (Cheapest dlp projector right now)
Very excited about the TD98 being the brightest projector you have tested yet. Is this a fully enclosed optical projector? Any issues or complaints after using it for some time?
I watched some videos from you, but I couldn't wait for your review and purchased TD98 a month ago. I haven't used it yet because I need to setup my living room first. Here, after looking at the chart, it seems that you prefer products with a wide color gamut if you are guaranteed enough ANSI lumens above 500. So TD97 or HQ9W can be a good option. Then I searched and found that there are products such as WZATCO C6 (95% NTSC) or WISELAZER X5 (130% NTSC). I’m curious if these products are better due to their color gamuts or still 72% NTSC is enough and HQ9W and TD97 are better. I wonder if 130% NTSC is even possible. Probably it is 104% NTSC which is equal to 130% sRGB?
Wow... They really can markup so high. WZATCO C6 has 45% NTSC only. It is the same like BlitzWolf V15 and WEWATCH V70. Not so sure about WISELAZER X5. But should be below 72% NTSC. No budget LCD projector can go above 72% NTSC yet.
@@jayceooi I understood. Thank you for giving me accurate information. That also makes sense to me. I will ask the company about WISELAZER (ZAOLIGHTEC) X5. If I find out anything else, I will let you know.
@@ic8719 I asked specifically and the manufacturer of WISELAZER (ZAOLIGHTEC) X5 said it is 130% NTSC (through its customer service chat), but I doubt it as Jayce explained. I believe someone who has X5 should check if it has that wide gamut as described.
i bought this during sales for $242 i reurned it was overheating after 5 minutes of use. i also could not focus the whole image he top portion was fuzzy. the quality control on these devices is crap. the speakers were really loud but the sound quality and base and treble was not good.
@@jayceooi thanks! But the top 14 on your list is not available in India except for XGMI. Mozart 1 is overpriced here at $420. The RD829 is the only good one I see at a budget price of $300

Interesting video! I bought this based on your review, How do you activate developer mode to tune display settings?
Press menu button on remote control in HDMI mode.
@jayceooi Perfect! Not a lot of tweaking options though
Hi Jayce! Which one is better in your opinion? TD98 Thundeal or V7 BW?
Both have own pros and cons. If you don't play games, go for TD98.
Very excited about the TD98 being the brightest projector you have tested yet. Is this a fully enclosed optical projector? Any issues or complaints after using it for some time?
Yes, I believe so. No issue.
Hi Jayce, any of your HDMI and ARC inputs?
A hug from Brazil
No.
What screen are you using for this projector and all your other projector videos?
Generic PVC matte screen.
YABER K1 is it the same this one? Which is the original brand?
Maybe. No original brand. Every brand can buy from the OEM factory.
good evening, when are you going to review the formovie s5 projector?
I don't think so. It is using 0.23" DMD just like WEMAX Go Advanced 300 @ ruclips.net/video/CeRmN2lvXlg/видео.html
Good evening, do you have a preview of the formovie s5 projector review?
Sorry, no. It should be a faster version of WEMAX Go Advanced 300 @ ruclips.net/video/CeRmN2lvXlg/видео.html

Oh, only 634 ansi lumens? I think this is low if you consider its power usage around 178 watts. What is the ansi lumens of your projector again?
Yes. Normal for 1LCD projector.
FYI, take 65W for example. 1LCD can output 150 ANSI Lumens. DLP can output 500 ANSI Lumens. Same power usage...
@@jayceooi oh yess, especially DLP with laser.
Sir how many ANSI lumens in this projector

Why is the top projector in your chart "*** MECOOL KP1" - does that mean it's currently no:1 because of the price? Or is it sponsored?
Not no 1. Not sponsored too. Just FYI there is promotion on going...
