    cheers :D love the oxford inflator but if they just explained it as odd harmonics with a curve adjustment for brighter/darker tones there would be less mystery and 'magic'! on their website they say 'tube like warmth' but this shows the opposite - tape/transformer type usually produces odd and tube produces characteristic even harmonics (as well as some odd)

    You should have compensated for the gain to get a better "difference" signal.
    Saturation Knob can add well over 6dB of gain, and Inflator adds around 3dB.
    You're getting bleed from the original signal since its only being partially cancelled.

    Pretty good info.. I must tell you, however, that sometimes I'm just wanting you to show what's happening without the lengthy explanation. You tend to repeat yourself a ton and maybe I'm just getting impatient, but get to it already!!
