    How about a follow up video? I’d like to see how stable this hoop is. Some video of how much it moves, if any, while shooting at the backboard. I’m looking to purchase a hoop soon and really like this hoop but would love too see some video on it of actual use. 🙏

      I doubt I could get you something together in time but I will say that everything is top shelf! I am an outside shooter and it rolls off the rim just like on a nice inside breakaway rim. I believe it is the best on the market. If you get your off of Amazon pleas use the link in my description. Thank you for watching and your comment!

      @@TheImprovementChannel I’m in no rush. Just started my research on hoops now. I look forward to your follow up video. Thank you!

    How far down did you dig for the concrete setting?

    This video was exactly what I was looking for. Very informative, thanks! I live in the Dallas area as well. What made you select Dominator over other brands?
    Also, I think I saw that the base which bolts on to the studs coming out of the concrete is slotted. Do those slots allow for side to side (“twist”) adjustment so you can adjust your backboard parallel to the court?

      I used to have a Silverback with a 4”x6” post about 20 years ago. It was very nice but this one is nicer in 2 ways. The up and down is smoother and easier to raise & lower. 2nd way is when you move it up and down the lines are in the same place meaning the overhang is the same matter the height and it hangs further away from the post. Yes, the holes are made so you can square goal up to the court, there is some adjustment. They thought of everything!

      @@TheImprovementChannel thanks for the reply! I noticed in your video that there are 10 locking slots about a round disc for height adjustment. What happens if a particular height (like 10’ or 8’) doesn’t line up to a slot but is in between? Did you have that issue?

      @TheImprovementChannel  Год назад

      @@mikhalelarculli3769 Great question! There is a little play in the up and down. I was able to get it locked in right at 10' in that locking slot you will most likely be able to do the same. I measured it out and found the 10' then put up the makers for the different heights on the back of the goal. Mikhal, if you do end up getting one of these please click through my link in the description, it will help me out, and you will pay the same!

    Any follow-up video of the hoop getting played on? Curious about how shaky it is without side support when the ball hits the backboard. Thanks!

      @@TheImprovementChannel tried looking through Amazon. Couldn't find it. The only reviews I was able to find on all dominator hoops are images and not videos. Can you post a link or a reference I can search on? Thanks!

      Interested as well if there are any shaking? I'm considering Dominator or MegaSlam board.

    Shame you guys didn't take any shots to show us if there's wobble or not. There's so few videos for this brand, it's kinda sketchy and sad.

    Hi Jim, I wanna ask an insurance question. I’m in Maryland, I was rear ended. My insurance company totaled my car and offered me $10,400. The car still drives, the damage is cosmetic, to the rear right passenger side. After the accident I drove 1 hour home, and my car drives just fine. I want to keep my car because it’s paid off, and I can’t afford a car note. 10,400 won’t get me a decent used car. They told me if I wanted to keep it they would offer me the salvage value of $9300. But I would need to get it fixed and inspected to put it back on the road. I decided to go after the drivers insurance company (Liberty mutual), they had me take photos, they wrote a repair estimate for $3700. They told me to take my car to their body shop, to evaluate the extent of the damage. My insurance company called me and wanted to know if I was going to look into the drivers insurance company to file my claim. I have not revealed to them that I made this decision. I have my car in limbo between the two insurance companies. I don’t know if liberty mutual is going to total the car also, I want to see who will give me the best offer but I don’t have much time. I am a single who supports herself and I don’t have much car knowledge. Did I make the right decision with the steps I took?What do you suggest I do? Need answer right away, because I don’t know how long my full coverage insurance will last by my car being totaled by my insurance company. thank you .

    • @TheImprovementChannel
      @TheImprovementChannel  Год назад +1

      Sorry for the delay, it is the insurance company’s job to make it right. Back to the way you were, especially since it was not your fault. Push them to not total the car or show them that all the cars like yours cost more and they need to pay more. Give them 3 examples of cars like yours for sale online and the prices.
