This conversation reveals much about you.
Still clinging on to salvation, distorted by Americanised notions of "perfection".
      You sold out.
PS - I can tell by the bags under your eyes that it eats at you. That which comes from the True Heart does not cause that kinda anxiety

This is an interesting 'interview'. As a therapist with 20 years experience, I have watched as Nicola La Pera distilled the wisdom from many fields, integrated that in a unique way, and articulated this in an easy, digestible form. This ability helped her grow her insta following from 600 K to 3.4 million in less than a year. She is nailing something in our psyche at present, and has important messages. Aubrey seems interested in talking about his experiences, and his first (and next) book, which he repeatedly plugs ... rather than giving space to Nicole to share her wisdom. It's a masculine way, with the inherent 'ego'. And through this, Nicole remains generous and compassionate.

Interestingly, Aubrey doesn’t usually take over the discussion as much as he did this time. So something internal is driving him in this interview. “Interesting”:

After having a very serious traumatic brain injury. I had nothing to rely on. I couldn't even draw a clock. I had a tbi with a massive stroke and had to just be in the moment! I felt like God gave me the 2x4 method of wam! Oh now I have your attention. It was a frightening experience. But have made a miraculous recovery! And they don't know how I did it! But i know I had to put my pride aside.

This is so wonderful and it c9nfirms my journey. Am not alone through this process. I was beginning to feel like such a an imposter as I walked into new experiences that challenged my old patterns and consciousness. Its like you want something and when you realize it, it's so new and foreign that you also fear it. Take your time to ease into a new experience and know that you are worth it and deserving. I have two man that I've been dating who is dismissive of me and does not want a commitment. Am attracted to him and miss him. Now, I ve met this man who is so warm, chivalrous and plans our dates and adores me and guess what, I resist him and am suspicious of him...I am aware of my old beliefs and luckily I have chosen this man because this is the man that can take care of my own little girl as apposed to the other man who keeps me in my old patterns of working hard for approval and being familiar to disrespect, not being valued or chosen. I Love you guys for this talk and am so relieved to know that I am not crazy. I am moving into a NEW me or the real authentic me and it is not as easy as we thing. We think we want that beautiful magic relationship until it challenges you to drop all the bullshit barriers to let it in...be gentle with yourselves and just observe as you move forward with expansion. Sending much love to all of us warriors to be the best version of ourselves...❤

I really believe Nicole's greatest gift is the way she explains things so very well. She ties together teachings which have been out there-- whether Eckart Tolle's description of the power of embodied awareness, yoga teachings about breathwork--pranayama or teachings about visioning as she gives an example of future self journaling, importance of self care first, etc but she explains them so well and links them all together as a curriculum which I love.

This is so spot on.., I’ve noticed that I do things in my home SO FAST! I was talking to a guy on the phone that I met a few days ago and after our call I noticed that I was talking very fast and my anxious energy had me end our conversation, and it was a good conversation. I have also noticed that when I talk to people I often stop breathing and become very scattered. I want to shift this. Thank you so much for this video! 🤗

Dr. LePera clearly speaks from experience. Such integrity, intelligence and sensitive, warm hearted. For someone suffering from mental illness means a lot to hear and see her speak. She has traveled the road, though not boasting about it.
First time for me seeing host Aubrey. I was a little amazed how often he referred to his own book etc, hardly mentioning hers, when she was the guest speaker. Nice guy, although he reminded me of the men you find in a gym; too busy with overachievement and leaving a smooth impression physical and how they come across.
The girl's way ahead of him, she is more in touch with her vulnerability and ego.
It's never a competition, but I do get a little more critical when someone has got this 'influencer, modern philosopher thing going on and would like to sell his books/brand.

Came here to say this. I heard him take opportunities to talk about all the other authors he was familiar with who had addressed aspects of the Nicole's expertise, and to use her answers as opportunities to bring the convo back to him, what he knows and the books he had/is currently authoring. I don't think he did that 1.5hrs, with a legit expert, justice. But, I've bought her book and am looking forward to going to the source.

I don’t know him, I listened because of Nicole, and did not find his communication helpful. I felt he tried to pitch hís book whereever he could, which annoyed me. Also he was associating on her ideas, from what apparantly hé knows, but he lacked the art of asking curious questions and therefor failed at bringing her ideas to the limelight as an interviewer.

    • @LoriSavingWild

I had the same experience. I have watched only a couple of his interviews and find that he talks about himself too often for my liking. I like to listen to the expert he is interviewing. That is the gift of a good interviewer - to bring out the best of the interviewee with great questions. Also, mentioning a book constantly but not telling us the title of her book was frustrating. He however was sure to get in the titles of his book and the one he is writing. But kudos to him for having a channel and finding great people to interview.

@@pivko93 I'm hearing Dr. Nicole getting into how to calm your own central nervous system through learned skills and Jordan Petersen works with making meaning in life and contributing to one's own life, then family, on to community. Both teaching very useful skills.

You are part of the equation. Don’t rely on gurus. Pick and choose what speaks to you. Personally, truth and responsibility gives me self esteem to keep me on course.

How can you be truly spiritual when you kill other spiritual beings and eat their flesh?
How do you embody awareness, and not think of the animals that died needlessly for “food” when we have plants to eat.
But go ahead and pet your cat or dog….
