One has the last laugh though as he could hire and fire many bus drivers over and over again being a millionaire. I wish he could these 2. Never quite understood how Susanna got as far as she did. Bit like Kay Burley. Well there is 1 reason but I can't bring myself to say it.
@johncook802 He lost his job because of Spitting Image which made him look "dated," (not that I would agree but the network did) ironically referred to on its 40th anniversary in this interview
I certainly do. I saw Mike Yarwood in summer season in Bournemouth in 1978. I saw Jon at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool in 2018. He does a tribute to Mike as a part of his act.
Amazed Ed didn't hear a strong link between Blair and Sunak as to me they are almost identical so much so that at first I thought Sunak was deliberately sending Blair up but he was serious.
I hate some of Culshaws impressions. Not because they are bad impressions (they are excellent), but because of WHO they represent. E.g. Sunak, and Johnson. Don't want to hear or see them!
For those criticising Jon's impressions, close your eyes and listen to him, you're saying he's "not good" because he hasn't got the costume or make up on, separate your gaze on him and listen just to the voice then you'll hear it.
The Starmer impression was the best! Incredible haha
He had it perfect then lost it a second.
Did he do the bit about letting British families down by not prosecuting Muslims?
HE DID THE JOHNSON SPOT ON !!!!!
I think Matt Forde does a slightly more pronounced version but some of Jon's other voices are the best of the best.
The Gordon Brown was excellent. He even had his little intake of breath and unusual movement of his bottom lip absolutely down.
Agree. He gets the Brown Scottish accent spot on...not bad for an Englishman!
And his blind left eye.
Rishi Sunak also impersonates a politician most days.
Brilliant. Good one.
🤣
Yeah it's a pretty bad impression though.
A decent man.
More like a teleprompter
The way he switches into Tom Baker is absurd, wonderfully talented man
No one under 50 is asking him to do Tom Baker. He just wheeled it out cause it's his best one.
@@ceesmith I am 43 and immediately recognised and enjoyed it.
@ceesmith I'm 29, and I can recognise Tom Baker.
'Your rail-replacement bus service Prime Minister' - perfect description of Rishi Sunak.
One has the last laugh though as he could hire and fire many bus drivers over and over again being a millionaire. I wish he could these 2. Never quite understood how Susanna got as far as she did. Bit like Kay Burley. Well there is 1 reason but I can't bring myself to say it.
Gordon Brown was his best impression. Amazing.
He needed to do the jaw drop grimace on every sentence that G brown does.
If I just listened - without watching - I'd have been certain that really is Keir Starmer.
Totally agree! His Keir is brilliant
Difficult to do too as it's a very normal voice.
@@theobjectivethinker64you must come from the south east…😂
@@alst4817 No North West
@@alst4817 I'm from Yorkshire and I agree with almklit, Starmer's voice isn't very idiosyncratic.
I always enjoy his impression of Dale Winton....brilliant 😂😂😂
I absolutely LOVE Jon Culshaw. Has always been a hero of mine since Dead Ringers was on TV. His Gordon Brown is superb.
His tom baker is amazing
I always loved dead ringers, his ability to instantly capture and change to these other voices so accurately is incredible!
Great stuff. Not just the voices and the mannerisms. He is getting to the essence of the person
Rishi sounded more like Julian Clary 😂
With a whiff of Dale 😊
Rishi does actually sound Dale Wintonish, he has the camp public school voice c.f. Blair.
The Starmer one was fantastic 🤯🤣🤩
And Jon knows what a woman is.
Thought the boris Johnson was brilliant
Gordon Brown spoken very well
Man, he really nailed Gordon Brown!
Hope not.
Great to see Jon back on TV and still on great form!
Very good impression's of jon culshaw..😂
Honestly, that made me cackle 😅
Love John Culshaw, the man is a genius, a modern day Mike Yarwood. My favourite form of comedy.
"All bets are off" We now know that all the bets were on!
Rishi Sunak sounds like a cross between Tony Blair and Tom Daley.
Wow. Gordon brown impression took me right back to “G brown”
“Cus im brown like that im brown like that”
So pleased Dead Ringers is back!
Was it back on the BBC please or another channel??
Starmer is spot on 😆
Hello, I want to start investing but I don't know where to begin. Any advice or contacts for help?
It's wise to seek professional guidance when building a strong financial portfolio due to its complexity.
The reality is that you cannot do it without a tried and true person like Mary
Does anyone look back fondly on Mike Yarwood [RIP] whose crown Mr Culshaw has earned?
Mike Yarwood was brilliant. Watched him every Saturday. Great Times.
Yes, I do. Mike was the one and only, a real pioneer.
Some would say another person who lost their job because of Thatcher.
I can honestly say, I can't really recall what Rishi's voice sounds like.
Brilliant Starmer and Brown impressions..
Amazed Ed didn't hear a strong link between Blair and Sunak as to me they are almost identical so much so that at first I thought Sunak was deliberately sending Blair up but he was serious.
lol at the end impersonating someone impersonating him 😂
Crazy time.
He’s got the Starmer down pat.
I loved him in dead ringers and in the Culshaw & Stephenson show.
His impression of Rishi Sunak sounded like Dale Winton again darlings 😅☺️
Pure talent
Outstanding 😂
Jon Culshaw sounding like Jon Culshaw with a hint of someone else 🥴🤷🏼♂️
His Tom baker and when he used to do Russel Crowe in gladiator were the best.
Boris Johnson haha perfect 👌 💯
Mike Yarwood was best impressionist of all time. He could even look like the person he was impersonating.
Mike Yarwood was Jon’s hero.
Harold Wilson was his whole act
Oh , coming for a laugh hahaha .
Gordon Brown was spot on 👏
Amazing talent
sunak was almost like his dale winton
😂do George Galloway.
I’ve always though Rishi sounded exactly like Blair. Not a compliment I guess.
Yeah I always noticed it too lol
@user-mw9bd2ey6s You've got to be joking
Not a joke at all. Tony Blair was the best prime minister by a long way in my lifetime. And I have lived through the administrations of 17!
@@mikelheron20 It's not exactly a very high bar when you think about it.
Somehow sounds like Blair with none of the charisma of Blair
Am I the only one who ever though Jon Culshaw was not that good? Give me Alistair McGowan or Rory Bremner any day.
such a terrible impersonator. Rory Bremner blows this charlatan out of the water.
Pure talent 😂
With any voice, or impressions, it's invaluable to have a palette of sounds via a musical memory.
Jon Culshaw the man of a thousand voices, and every one the bleedin same!
I get ya point sometimes he does, some of the impressions are spot on though 🙂
Jon Culthaaw can’t impersonate himself never mind anybody else.
What a talent!
Love you joh so much
I though his rishi sunak was dale winton lol
Lol!! I do impressions as well!
Culshaw is one of the best impressionists I can think of.
Alastair McGowan & Rory Bremner???
Man so glad dead ringers is back. It was so funny
Was it advertised and on which channel??
He's great. Great Rory Bremner.
Brilliant
Hilarious 😂😂
Brilliant , wish I had this talent
Jon is amazing
Tom Baker and Gordon Brown were the best.
Is Dead Ringers a Tv show or just radio?
Brilliant John
FUN FACT! Kia have developed a new car which has a single button, that when pressed, it performs a perfect u turn. It's called the Kia Starmer.
Jon is BRILL
Not watched GMB for years, Susanna Reid still gorgeous
Gordon Brown very good. The Rishi-Blair similarity had struck me, I have to say.
genius
I hate some of Culshaws impressions. Not because they are bad impressions (they are excellent), but because of WHO they represent. E.g. Sunak, and Johnson. Don't want to hear or see them!
Agree. Why should these WEF puppets get so much attention!!
When did Dead Ringers Return to our screens?!
he is brillant
Very clever
Johnson pulled that stunt just to get a few column inches and a bit of attention. Typical narcissist as always.
I could have done with much more of Les Dawson, God rest his soul.
I never knew Boris Johnson was from Stoke. I never knew Rishi Sunak was gay and from Stoke.
Until now
02:34, Culshaw needs to do more nasal for Starmz!
Best in the business John!
His Sunak was Dale Winton
It is a difficult job to be a comedian. It is even more difficult to be an impressionist. Jon did a few great ones here.
Tom baker one was fantastoc
Sunak sounds more like dale winton !!

I wonder if Jan Ravens can impersonate Susanna Reid.
Jon culshaw ladies and gentleman
Steve bridges impersonating Obama, GW Bush and Clinton were hilarious to watch......
Rishi Sunak sounds like dale wonton in my opinion
I think Starmer sounds like a Dalek!
The Adenoidal Starmer.
Opportunity missed - he should have done the weather as Eamonn Holmes
Starmer is uncanny
I wonder if he does a good Richard Madeley being arrested for shop-lifting?
Looks a bit like Rory Bremner lol
I thought his Rishi was Dale Winton.
Starmer and Sunak have pretty nondescript voices...John doesn't have much to go on there.. but Boris and Brown are a gift.
Jon Culshaw sounds a lot like Jon Culshaw. Listen to Matt Forde's Starmer and Johnson
I get ya point sometimes he does as he will attemtp to do anyone, some of the impressions are spot on though, and his top ten voices are the best.
@@theobjectivethinker64 Oh yes, he does do some very impressive ones, but agreed, probably stretches himself too thinly.
