That's a pretty far out underground fort Dave - I think maan the money we've spent on war. And much of it we left behind. Awesome to catch up with the cranes. They're huge birds - the sound was like a mammoth rookery. I bet that was a buzz. Now were they giant Otters? They certainly looked bigger than normal. Well, a great observation. All the best over there. Mark
I'm not optimistic about the humaan condition.. Enough about that. The beaver looked odd indeed. They could have been beaver rat too. But I'm guessing beaver. One did a 'slap' on the water, as beavers tend to do. There was so much to see. The cranes are awesome.. Falling asleep with that distant calling. It was a great little trip. Thanks man. You are one of the last remaining of the once enthusiastic utube outdoor bunch. Much appreciated. Whatever happened to them all?
@@spijkerpoes Yeah, a human condition. Re-the beaver I did wonder that. So, they are beaver. I can imagine the distant calling - a real trance sound track. A pleasure as always Dave - hey I've had some dark moments on youtube but yeah still here. Not sure about the rest - perhaps they don't feel that real friendship exists in this space. Peace bro.
Another good one - the fort looked very cool and the cranes were fantastic I’m showing my ignorance but I didn’t know anything about them I thought they were solitary pretty amazing footage ….every day is a school day Regards Mick
hahah we didn't know anything about anything too. Lac du Der has a fascinating history. The Cranes are worth a lifetime study - and the forts, yeah that's just all about war😑 cheers and thanks!
Thank you for sharing all your experiences with us.
Wish you a happy new year, with many good new experiences.
Best regards, Knut.
