I always find some time Dave - full view. That was good and entertaining. Ha, the cat every now and then meowing. Not a lion but the next best thing. Yeah, wild out there in some places away from the traffic. But that wood latterly with the funny rolly poly German statue and plant bed with love heart. I did laugh. Fantastic views throughout. Re-the maps - OS over here are probably the best. Well, good going. All the best out there. Mark
cheers man, thanks for the interest! These are the trips of our lifes. Here for us and the rest of the world to see. Maps - yeah back in the day when I walked the Lakes and Scotland OS maps ab-fab. GeoPortail is of the same quality. If there is anything of interest or importance, spring, fort, ruin, bridge, way marking... it is on that map. So many times here in holland when I wish for something like it. It is just not available. Stay tuned, we were out watching the Cranes migration and it was spectacular! See you Mark!
@@spijkerpoes A pleasure Dave - it was good one. Mellow and with lots of layers. Good to hear of the maps here and in France. See you on that next one. Peace.
Hey Mick, yep familiar ground these Vosges hills. Still lots to explore. For more culture, one best enter the Rhine valley proper. But we didn't feel very cultural this time round. We wanted woods, hills and solitude. For next year we are not sure still.. Alps? or Sweden? .. Thanks for poppin by
@@spijkerpoes More culture in a pot of yogurt than me !, I was in Arnhem in September , l didn’t try to contact you as you said you were away cycled up from leopaldsburg in Belgium New cycle route very enjoyable , hopefully do it again next year will give a shout nearer the time perhaps buy you a glass of beer or three …
Oh that would be the Airborne cycle route? Wouldn't know if war is culture, but we sure have a lot of it. Next year septemder is far away but a couple of beers sounds like a good plan. Cheers, hope you had a good time here! @@hackneeey
