Congratulations! Recently we, my wife and I, had watched a view of your videos, and when we had viewed this one, a week ago, we decided to subscribe and follow your developing 'story'. We binge-watched all your videos last week, to be up to date with your whole story so far. We discovered that you both are in some ways like we were, when we were young people: always in for a challenge. We, a couple born in the Netherlands, have been on many adventures during the some six decades of our lives. The biggest one being our move to Ireland and adopting citizenship there. We even named our house "The Challenge", because it truly was a challenge to buy an old Irish farmhouse and renovate it to give it a new chance to provide shelter to people. We wish you both all the luck, strength, and wisdom in the challenge you are now encountering: enlargement of your family. This with love from us to you three!

Vic, if your canoe has rainwater you could by a small pond pump, stick a hose on it and hang it over the side that's what I do when I want to empty my pond, It empty's pretty darn quick. you may have to fiddle to make the attachment. then you can go and find some baby book care 🤔😊

@@HollyTheCafeBoat well currently we need a new gearbox... When the kids were younger we went on more adventures. Mostly stay put. Tend to our veg growing, neighbours have bees and we have chickens😊 Our boats an old motorised BCN Butty.

I have 2 children, one girl and one boy. And grandchildren, now as my little ones aren't any more. When i was pregnant with my 2nd, i was having the same problem with nausea. When i should have been eating, i was losing weight. One particularly green morning, i must have made some kind of urp noise because, without looking up, my secretary said "go get a coke!" "Excuse me?" "Go get a Coke(a Cola). Not a Diet Coke. Not a Ginger Ale. A Coke. In a red can". As she was very nice, respectful and NEVER spoke to me like that, i did. When I returned, I asked what she wanted me to do with it. "Drink it!", she said. She didn't follow that with 'You idiot' but I felt. Now we become disrespectful?!? I drank the coke, concerned it would come back up. It didn't though a tiny little burp did. I had a patient and headed down to my department. When i finished with the patient, i went back to her office to check for calls. She asked how i was feeling and I realized that I did not feel nausea, nor fatigued, not anything but normal. I could not say when the nausea went away but i would guess within half an hour. You will hear so much advise about this and that, and i am one of the worst at thinking that my opinion is the only right one, and that everyone cherishes my little nuggets of advice like the gold i suspect them to be. I know, I know. Pathetic. So i thought twice about saying something. Since this is YOUR channel and you have the Master Delete Key, I decided to risk it. It turns out, though, that Coca Cola was developed as a syrup for nausea. It also contained a narcotic that aas very popular in the 80's and 90's, but no longer does. I used to keep Coke in the house for times when someone was sick to their stomach,, until my grandson moved in. No Coke will last 48 hours in his presence so i quit buying it. I was throwing money at his habit. But it is very effective for that. I don't know if you can get Original Recipe Coke in the UK, as that is the one useful for nausea. If you cannoy and they use a different recipe where you are, then never mind. It does work quickly and work well, though. I recommend that my chemo patientss keep candied ginger in their pockets or bags and in a jar at home and that is another option. Feel free to delete this comment, or any one i make, as the mood strikes. Love to both of you, especially during this magical time and i hope the nausea goes away very soon!

When I returned, I asked what she wanted me to do with it. "Drink it!", she said. She didn't follow that with 'You idiot' but I felt. Now we become disrespectful?!? I drank the coke, concerned it would come back up. It didn't though a tiny little burp did. I had a patient and headed down to my department. When i finished with the patient, i went back to her office to check for calls. She asked how i was feeling and I realized that I did not feel nausea, nor fatigued, not anything but normal. I could not say when the nausea went away but i would guess within half an hour.
You will hear so much advise about this and that, and i am one of the worst at thinking that my opinion is the only right one, and that everyone cherishes my little nuggets of advice like the gold i suspect them to be. I know, I know. Pathetic. So i thought twice about saying something. Since this is YOUR channel and you have the Master Delete Key, I decided to risk it. It turns out, though, that Coca Cola was developed as a syrup for nausea. It also contained a narcotic that aas very popular in the 80's and 90's, but no longer does. I used to keep Coke in the house for times when someone was sick to their stomach,, until my grandson moved in. No Coke will last 48 hours in his presence so i quit buying it. I was throwing money at his habit. But it is very effective for that. I don't know if you can get Original Recipe Coke in the UK, as that is the one useful for nausea. If you cannoy and they use a different recipe where you are, then never mind. It does work quickly and work well, though. I recommend that my chemo patientss keep candied ginger in their pockets or bags and in a jar at home and that is another option. Feel free to delete this comment, or any one i make, as the mood strikes. Love to both of you, especially during this magical time and i hope the nausea goes away very soon!
