Olympic Games on PS1 had an absolute banger of a soundtrack - like a trancey techno type playlist that was ao beautifully 90s. I bought the game again off eBay a few years ago, for no other reason than to pop it in my CD player and listen to those tracks.
A classmate of mine from primary school in Australia played for Aston Villa at some point. Brett Holman. He also had a memorable performance in the 2010 World Cup against Serbia.
We lived on the same block. He played every competition sport there was. We used to have a yearly Soccer (sorry) Gala Day, which was an interschool competition. I played along with him every year. I remember at the end of one game when we were about 11, him saying “We would have done better if YOU weren’t on the team”. Cocky young man. Can’t say he wasn’t right, though 😆
Haha, yeah I bet most top level athletes and sports people are cocky to a certain extent, suppose they need to be if they are going to make it. Good blast from the past though, haven't thought of his name for a few years. Actually, thinking about it, I believe he was sold by the club because he made some comments about the Head Coach during an interview 😂
Decathlete on the Saturn and Virtua Athlete 2000 on the Dreamcast were good track and field games from Sega that didn't get the olympic license. The mario and sonic olympic games got the license and carried the torch playing similar.

There is a USA Basketball game on the genesis for the 92 Olympics. With facts of each country too.
I'll have to check that one out!

That's one of the best things about the PS1, being able to play the tracks on your CD player!

I remember him, scored a screamer or two whilst at Villa. Good player.

I'll have to check them out, not overly familiar with Saturn and Dreamcast games...
Great job bro, excellent content, facts and obscure statistics. You'll be England's AVGN in a couple of years🎉
Thanks! Though I'm much calmer than him! 😂

Cheers mate, I appreciate the kind words and continued support!
If you do a comprehensive TMNT Nes review that would be awesomeness for sure. Can never have too many TMNT reviews 😂
That's definitely on the list, working on a video about The Simpsons games (Mega Drive) right now...
There was also a game made for Tokyo
I own that on Switch, good fun!
Did you play any of these games?
