I really like these types of reviews. Don't wanna sound rude, but I think when you do solo reviews is when you elaborate and kinda focus more on the music than interacting with metalbro or metalbabe for example. I like both formats though for different reasons, one is for the lols the other is for the more thorough breakdown. If you wanna hear something, supposedly new, I suggest checking out Ingested - Invidious. The song isn't new per se, but I think it's a very good introduction to the band. Some say they are slam, others - deathcore, death metal, idk, what I do know however is that they are awesome.

For The Likes Of You is dropping the music video for their new song, Rot With Me, today! It’s heavy af and goes sooo hard. Definitely a band I feel like people are sleeping on!
Apparently Stevie O'Shaughnessy, Sold Soul's vocalist, is a mentor of sorts to SoM's vocalist Greg Gilbert. Stevie also considers the two "brother bands" so I guess they share musicians since Sold Soul's first EP was just the vocalist and one other dude mixing and mastering all the instruments
I totally get what he’s saying, but for me I hear every single instrument clearly and thoroughly as well as the vocals. Idk. Maybe I’m just obsessed with this band lol
Square Up also did Trueshots most recent video, if I remember right. Agree with you that this track could have edited portions of it but overall this is a contender for deathcore track of the year.
