Do these guys gear these trucks super low? Sounds like they don't really work the engines too hard and rely more on gearing. I'm impressed with how patient and calculating they are. Just waiting for one little slip up. haha.
not a lot of people realize there is a fair bit of technique and skill involved in this, its not just getting a big truck and stomping on the gas like most people think
I could be wrong, but I think those particular suitcase weights weigh about 150 lbs each. If so, then that means that Dodge truck has about 3,000+ lbs. hanging off the front end. Wonder if that's still the stock Dana 60 front axle? I'm very surprised it hasn't snapped. Either way, it's overloaded for sure, considering what the Cummins diesel engine weighs alone, never mind all the extra weight added on the front end.
Hey does anybody know what type of swampers are on the "Bent not Broke" truck? Any one have soecifics, I've only found TSL'S Super Swampers which look similar, but if I could get definite on the brand, size, etc I would greatly appreciate it! Keep up the good work Bent not Broke, your an inspiration, love every video I see this truck in, keep them coming guys!
+BustedKnuckleVideo my dad has a 7.3 in a 93 dually with a six speed he loves that truck even over his 08 f250. the 12v Cummins is another badass as long as you never brought it in for that freak in recall!!!!!
+BustedKnuckleVideo they had a recalled back in the 90s the ecm was programmed wrong and basically it was programmed like a police interceptor the trucks were freaking awesome my dad messed up and brought his into the shop for the recall and it never ran the same again ended up having to take it to a specialty shop and have them reprogram it like it was and it cost almost $1,500 so yeah recall
fucking quality tugs, what is it in these trucks that takes the slipping force? is it a clutch or a type of torque converter? does this kind of thing eat those parts up?
BustedKnuckleVideo Its a 94-97, you can tell because it has the chrome mirrors instead of the plastic ones that came out in 98 and were used until 01 for 1500s or 02 for 2500s amd 3500s
Can someone send me all of the busted knuckle tug o war links of street truck size I like em more than the big ass truck cant get enough of this shit poor mans entertainment
I think i need to remind all the kids that watch this video. These kind of "Competitions" have nothing to do with the Power or brand of the truck pulling or getting pulled. It is 100% traction nothing more, nothing less.
I'm well aware he is running swampers... that has nothing at all to do with the point I was making. The point I was making was that with any high torque engine, excessive weight, and maximum rubber to asphalt contact (meaning, run slicks INSTEAD of mud tires), anyone with said combination should always dominate in pulls or any tug of war competition. Tug of wars are rarely "even or fair" competitions. Still entertaining to watch, but mostly pointless. At least they are better than any mindless burn-out competition.
In a way, this kind of "tug-o-war" is rather dumb. All you gotta do to win is run wide SLICKS (not mud tires with huge lugs) to obtain the maximum surface contact (traction) possible. Then, have a tremendous amount of weight on the front and rear, sticking the wheels to the asphalt. Combine those 2 factors with an engine and drivetrain that is capable of a massive amount of TORQUE, and you will win pulls like this every single time. You best have a really good automatic transmission that is built, with right torque converter and stall speed as well. Also better have really good trans coolers to keep the fluid temps down. Like anything in life, if you spend the time and money on what is important to achieve your desired outcome, you can make your machine "unstoppable". Fun to watch, but I'd sure never want to do that to my truck.
This is a serious pro-level tug-o-war. Cummins guy has nerves of steel. Never seen anything like this.
guy knows whats up
Its all about the weight and torque and a diesel will win every time
"bent but not broke" love it
thats right
that truck has been through hell and still kicks ass!
+thebloomerline95 you got that right, we are proud to have our logo on that truck!
Wow a Chevy asshole not talking shit about anothermans truck that's not a chevy for once? Am I hallucinating?
The Cummins diesel guy was just screwin with everybody, LOL.
+prancstaman dominated
Killer dodge 👍
+The liltle ram killen them big trucks
is that the same truck that bent in half? i would guess so with the window sticker..
yep
this is by far the most tactical tug of war i ever seen
its a tough competition
legit pro tug-o-war, I have never seen anything like this before, this is cool!
they go all out
Yeah this is the first one I've watched that I respected. Seems like more patience and less alcohol makes for a better competition.
TheWhatman21 exactly. Like if somebody has a huge lifted up basically monster truck and then try get beat by a badass small truck like this.
dodge guy just has alot more patience. seems like everyone else got a bit antsy and started to hop or slip the tires and then it's all over!
+nitrosport5 there is a lot to it

Its definetly at its breaking point, but you do what u have to in order to win
Isn't that the truck that snapped in the middle
+Josh McQueen I think so o.O
Yea it is. See that sticker on windshield. Bent not broke
+Josh McQueen Yes that is the one
+Josh McQueen Yep. He got it fixed up and brought it back for revenge!
Terri Dunbar sounds like you are real intelligent
That announcer dude ruined the audio for this clip OH OH OOOOOOHHH
that aside , great tug of war clips.
+Andy Boily we can't help that
Didn't ruin it lol. Just ruined it for you.
is there a video of when the truck rolled over on this dodge? Got a link for that one this dodge is my favorite
Hold on Ill find it
This thing bent in half and still dragged ass what y'all talking about lol..my buddy's
+Kade Sedberry killin em
One word........ Weight
Thats the ticket
Weight, torque and traction
And Cummins!
More like CUMMINS
They all had weight
would large slick tires be better for this type of pull? in my mind more contact means more grip.
they would but he also drives it on the street
Hey does anybody know what type of swampers are on the "Bent not Broke" truck? specifics*
they are TSL SX tires
+BustedKnuckleVideo awesome, thanks a mill. Wish I had the dimensions but I'll have to make it work. I appreciate it brother!
I gotta say I love that 70s model ford even though I own a dodge,Chevy and a Ford my first was Ford and that's where my allegiance is 🇺🇸👍
I have no allegiance. I drive a 7.3 powerstroke because they are bullet proof
+BustedKnuckleVideo my dad has a 7.3 in a 93 dually with a six speed he loves that truck even over his 08 f250.
the 12v Cummins is another badass as long as you never brought it in for that freak in recall!!!!!
recall?
+BustedKnuckleVideo
they had a recalled back in the 90s the ecm was programmed wrong and basically it was programmed like a police interceptor the trucks were freaking awesome my dad messed up and brought his into the shop for the recall and it never ran the same again ended up having to take it to a specialty shop and have them reprogram it like it was and it cost almost $1,500 so yeah recall
That was very impressive. Thanks.
+Anolbea thanks for watching
fucking quality tugs, what is it in these trucks that takes the slipping force? is it a clutch or a type of torque converter? does this kind of thing eat those parts up?
have to have tough transmissions for sure
impressive to watch but man those transmissions must get warm.
gotta build them right
does anyone know the tire and rim setup he is running?
looks like some 33 super swamper SX tires on 10" wheels
what exactly does this prove? how much weight you put on the front of your truck?. I would never do that to my truck...
pretty much, cant be scared
Yah big dummy they make them weight the same so its fair thats why they got weights on there trucks
This must be a clutch killer
no doubt
I like your truck ... what year is it ? I got a 95 dodge and a 89 dodge both twelve valve Cummins
its definitely a 12 valve. not sure on year
BustedKnuckleVideo Its a 94-97, you can tell because it has the chrome mirrors instead of the plastic ones that came out in 98 and were used until 01 for 1500s or 02 for 2500s amd 3500s
torque converter torture
no doubt
Makes me hurt on the inside .. I would never do this to my 6.7
can make french fries with transmission oil
what tyres are these lads using (4:14)
thanks
Super Swamper SX on the Dodge
BustedKnuckleVideo Thanks
NP
is that miles baringer and his some in the cummins
bent not broke
ThunderChicken404 not his son but yea thats him.
Who's got bnb the video of the truck crashing bnb into the bent not broke 2500 12 valve? That's a crazy good one also
Here ya go- ruclips.net/video/ad5hB60_Qw8/видео.html
Why is your bed and body all messed up? The video where you "bend it in half" the body work looks good but what happened?
This happened- ruclips.net/video/ad5hB60_Qw8/видео.html
Is that prepped at all
+randombk82894 the track?
ya cant tell on my broken ass phone

I wonder how much damage is done to their torque converters..
+TheJustin574 gotta be geared low
Dana 60 front and 70 rear? Also does anybody know what gear ratios and if he put aftermarket stub shafts and and axles? Thanks
No idea
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I’m just really impressed with the strength of those axles in handling all of that torque
Nice and slow, best way to go
wins for show
Beautiful
Ol Bent not Broke is a winner
3:00 nice!!!
truck is a beast!
lmao the tie rods on them chevs be snapping like tooth picks
+Justin Macdonald hydro assist didnt help
I can almost hear the transmissions screaming to be put out of their misery lol.
its tough on them
Nathan McDonald I would definitely use engine oil and trans oil coolers, and a direct drive fan. Whatever it take to keep the engine and trans cool.
Why don't they use slicks?
thatd be too easy
Control traction on???
no traction control on that truck
i can just smell the clutch
+Nacho Rider on automatics?
God bless AMERICA
+John Greeneyes MERICA!
seen this same dodge get folded in half, straightened back out and still beat the moster truck he was pullin..
+Roscoe Odneal tug of war machine
that diesel needs some red lable stickies
+Rockthehawk 26 that would break some stuff lol
didn't this truck break in half
It did, still a winner
That's awesome
Kid has some tug of war skills for sure
I think i need to remind all the kids that watch this video. These kind of "Competitions" have nothing to do with the Power or brand of the truck pulling or getting pulled. It is 100% traction nothing more, nothing less.
exactly, brand loyalty in vehicles is ridiculous
Traction and Torque value.
well let us not forget weight too
I wonder why everyone has swampers.
+ID10Tpig slicks might do better
I'm well aware he is running swampers... that has nothing at all to do with the point I was making. Right weight = winning in most cases
If it was fair it would be boring a hell. Like watching a turtle race
the cummins dodge is mean as f###
This truck wins a lot
i know i want the truck so bad
sweet
i thought that one was going to blow the trans at 3:55
+Wolfhound poor converter
damn... he doesn't care what happens to this truck, bent it then went back out! at least he didnt have the wights in the back of the truck like before
He wins a lot of tugs
BustedKnuckleVideo pretty sure that Cummins isn't even trying
Bent not broke
Thats right!
Poor trucks. Id never do that to mine
stress test
Oh mann dodge got that ford!!
always does
yea he got that 40 year old ford gasser
he always wins
Looks like whoever has the most counter weight wins.....
+theninja001 weight = traction
I know, that's why he won, everyone is arguing what truck is best, and it just comes down to who used more weight
+me this guy The steroids of the tug game
at 1:36 that truck is
howd that one sneak in there?
If anyone wants to know what pro tug of war is this is it
true
MAN Y'ALL
Truck is tough to beat!

this truck has mud tires and wins a lot
exactly
cummins
FTW
whats with the Cummins? its a curse to GMs japanese diesels and scares fords away
Thing just won't quit
A Land Rover would have drug 'em all around town.
lol good one
Lol tug of war with a semi Volvo
omg where's toyota fan's??
+Cartney84 Ian ?
BustedKnuckleVideo ahahaaa i mean hilux! lol 🙊😛😛
Toyota fans are hidden in the toilets
CUMMINS
FTW
Just fill your bed with sand lol
+theninja001 or concrete barricades
They shouldn't be able to have people to tell them what to do its not fair! And they shouldn't be able to have weights!
+infamouscoma886 wahhhhh
I love the trucks, but whats the fucking point of this???????
just another fun motorsport to get people out of the house and out doing something
adding weights is gay,,if you cant pull it without then the point is proven. done it many times
Weight = winning
defeats the purpose, doesn't prove which is better
That truck has more traction than an antifa group posing as Trump supporters at the capitol building.
HA
Yea. sure. dodge can't even pull ford like it is. had all weight on front of bumper lol. funny
Took the win didn't he?
yes it did
still smart plan lol go for win
And y’all say Ford and Chevy are better.
Cummins smoked y’all!
depends on what you want to do
@@BustedKnuckleVideo that’s what a Chevy guy would say😂
First comment
2 words Traction& Weight
That's how you win
