All story elements aside, can we just take some time to appreciate how far this mod has come? It largely started as a reskin, but then went on to actual remixes, then fully original songs and even cinematic and different mechanics in some songs.

This really does show that whatever's corrupting GF is definitely putting up a fight this time around. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the corruption is starting to get a little desperate with how hard it's looking to put BF down now. Loved how Soul is still with BF making sure he doesn't fall after how far he's come. Soul BF truly an MVP here.
It's probably because it wasn't expecting its biggest threat to escape captivity. That it would win in the end.... but now it's got to fight for survival against the only one that can beat it.
I think it's on its last legs. It's trying to look like BF has no shot when in reality BF giving it his all is slowly but surely breaking the corruption. It knows it's losing this fight and is desperate to break BF. It tried to make BF hallucinate and make him believe his efforts were in vain, he wasn't making any progress and the corruption was winning when in reality he's getting close. That's why Soul stepped in. BF CAN do this. He just needs a little extra help to keep him in the game long enough to win. That's what Soul is. That extra push.
The delivery of that last line at [4:27], "Such a shame..." You can hear both the corruption's untamed malice and its disappointment that it has to destroy its greatest weapon! Can't wait for Day 3!!

One thing that sets this mod apart from a lot of the others is it tells a story through the visuals in the songs itself for the most part. This is what I found originally appealing about the original game. Sure there wasn’t much to that, but your imagination could fill in the gaps. This takes that to the next level.

Prior to 3:16 you'll notice that there are little motes that emit from BF and get absorbed by Evil GF. It's safe to assume that this is his sanity, and now that it's weakened the Corruption can freely infiltrate BF's mind. Another interesting thing is that the static in Soul BF's part as it could be a possible reference to the massive screen in the background of Soul BF's Week. We could be taking the Corruption's perspective and realising that recorrupting BF is next to impossible as he has Soul BF on his side. Shortly after we'd be kicked out of BF's mind after he's motivated again and he gains a massive morale boost.
I think the corruption is truly pulling out all the stops here because it knows, if GF is brought back to BF, he’ll never lose. GF is all he needs to motivate him, so if GF is back with him, the corruption has basically lost.
Mm and dd will be easier to get with her though they’ll need to go after mm first to help fight dd since you know he was the hardest to bring down and they needed to use emotional damage on him since he was mourning and couldn’t go through fighting mm. That being the only reason as to why he lost in death match a man who lost everything was going to win until the very person he loved was turned against him. Hell maybe the two of them might be used as the last people to sing against him along side bf to bring him back.
It’s interesting to note that even though BF was losing in the middle of the song, it was not represented via the signature black goo of the corruption covering his body. I think that BF might have actually gained immunity to the corruption after breaking out, and the only way that the corruption can win at this point is by making him give up. In this song, the corruption played its final card, creating the illusion GF was fully corrupted again and taunting him with the messages on the walls. Luckily for the Corruption, it’s last-ditch plan somehow managed to work and BF fully gave himself up. However, only a couple of seconds after he gave up, Soul BF came to the rescue and managed to reignite BF’s hope again, and so the corruptions desperate gambit failed.

*Your anxieties LIE to you* This is a message someone once quoted in a group therapy session I attended. That quote has really helped me see hope in life when things appear to be at it's darkest. That's what I see in the music and cinematics of this mod.
I'm loving how it's not a one sided fight. BF is constantly being tested and on the edge. He literally has to save everyone and the very first person he fights is GF. If he can overcome her tho, both of them definitely can save everyone else.
3:34 you can hear soul bf trying to keep bf going “Nuh uh boy. You ain’t giving up after we’ve come this far!” Even when BF is on the verge of giving up, soul bf keeps pushing him. Soul BF is truly the MVP here. Can’t wait to see what Day 3 looks like
I LOVE how the Corruption is making GF use illusions and her demonic powers to both drain BF of energy and try to make him think he's not making any progress on saving her! The details are AMAZING! Good on ya mate! Keep up the great work!
This mod is the perfect example of "Less Is more." There are no gimmick notes, no OCs, just an amazing story with the main characters we have grown to love over the last 2 years. Thank you, Ninjamuffin and Phantom Fear,for this amazing game and mod. Edit: Ok, I see the people in The replies didn't get the message. I never said that OC's in a mod was bad. In fact, it can add creativity and give your mod an identity. What I *meant* to say was that a nice mod with classic characters can be nice and relaxing for new players who don't want to destroy their fingers.
I love how, when Soul BF shows up, Boyfriend realizes that he may have nothing, but that means he has nothing left to lose, so he may as fight right to the bitter end.

Tbh i prefer believing that bf just remembered soul, because soul actually appearing kinda makes it anti climatic since they already said goodbye dramatically
Now I can understand why it took so long to make! Everything about this battle is spot on! I loved the detail when BF thought he was winning, only to find out that corrupted GF is more powerful than he thought, and BF started to lose hope. But my favorite part is during BF's mind segment, you can soul BF's silhouette right behind BF fighting alongside with him, showing that soul BF is never leaving, and will always be by BF's side to end the corruption! I can't wait to see the other corrupted figures BF will have to face after he saves GF!
Admittedly when the first concept came around, I was kinda middling on the corruption idea. It felt like something people just did to be edgy, but this? This was amazing, legitimately. And one of my favorite bits was that the song never relied on gimmicks to tell its story, instead making a whole story through one continuous song. Not to mention the song itself being almost transcendent (thanks Saster), and it makes the whole thing tie into a wild-ass ride that had me surprisingly engaged throughout.
Really love how you were still able to incorporate Soul BF into this. He may not be real, but the guy knows how to throw in support for his homie, even if it is spiritually.
Man this mod gets more epic every time, and it makes you wonder what's gonna happen next, it's been a while since the last episode, but still cool that we got one today, great job guys!
Fighting corrupt gF first is like fighting the final boss first! Most of the boss fights won’t be as interesting until we see the Lemon Demon/Monster fight.
Damn. This one is truly a nail-biter. But the final battle? I'll bet that'll be the pinnacle of intensity. Best of luck, getting it finished. This series is fantastic, so far.
This fight actually shows us that bf's determination never goes down no matter how much he falls he always finds a way to continue and whatever is corrupting bf is having a hard time putting him down unlike the others because this time the corruption isn't effecting bf now

I was just watching the first one yesterday, and so I genuinely was not expecting this to come out today. That being said, I can’t wait to watch and see what’s in store this time, especially considering all the “poster theories” from the first GF vs BF battle.

3:10 got Discharge + Neuroses Harder, also it's a nice to see that Boyfriend is really Determined since he didn't fall for the corruption even though the hard attempts from corruption itself from getting him Crazy and Insane for making him corrupted again
All I can and will say (would be here all night otherwise) is that this has truly been an adventure unlike any other and I love, fear, and root for this mod. Literally puts me on the edge of my seat and has also been a big help for a creation of mine which if I could bring to life with my own hands I would.
I remember when I was first playing Friday Night Funkin' Mods, Phantom came into the chat and sent me the original Skid and Pump week demo. It's absolutely incredible to see how much this mod has progressed since then! I've been really enjoying the series and I can't wait for you to release the full version of this mod! My personal take on the corruption mod. Soul BF said he's not real in the escape episode. I think soul BF is kind of something akin to internal motivation like something he made up in his mind to help him do better. Soul BF is the person that regular BF wants to be. And the corruption taking over his friends and him is actually a metaphor for him thinking his friends hate him, and he's trying to get over mental stuff to reclaim the real version of them, the ones who love him. they do care for him he just doesn't realize it yet but he wants to. In hard times you have to try, try to find things to hang on to that make you happy and you have to keep going until you can understand your own self worth and the worth of others. It's because you matter and even though you've done things in the past you may regret or people have done things to you, no matter what you're going through just remember. "Are you going to give up? Didn't think so!"
I love how when BF goes back into his mind, Soul BF is just like "AW, HECK NO!! I AIN'T GONNA LET IT END LIKE THIS!!! YOU CAME THIS FAR, WORKED SO HARD FOR THIS, JUST TO QUIT!? HECK NO!! YOU'CE WORKED TOO HARD TO GET THIS FAR, NOW GET UP, AND FINISH THIS, BOY!!"
i just can't wait to play it and feel in first hand the story of the corruption and how a little blue boy is tasked to save everyone starting by himself, great character development and fresh history, i can't wait to day 3.
Things were looking grim for BF, The illusion of no progress caused BF to lose the will to fight (Indicating Health Drain, Interesting). But Soul BF was still in him, helping him push through, showing that his progress was no lie. Now BF has to face GF once more, with whatever she has up her sleeve. And something tells me that this "angelic" silhouette has something to do with that. Also, RIP Speakers. They have been with us since the beginning (Not Involving DD's Week)
this is so good! its crazy how this mod started out with such a simple concept, and has been developed into really sweet stuff like this! soul bf clutching at the end as well as gf’s transformation is really cool!

at 2:57 until 3:17 BF was not trying he went insane the reason why the health went down he got to crazy that he was not trying at that point thinking that GF was gone and Corrupt GF Knew this so she kept doing it so he give up which worked but not right Soul Bf saved him so he did not give up Hope soul bf would be in the final song as a ghost form helping BF to uncorrupt his Friends
I like how very slowly throughout this series, the corruption is starting to get more and more desperate because bf is starting to get alot harder to corrupt, and he is saving gf. this is pretty much like the corruption's last hope to corrupt bf because if gf is saved, which she probably will be, then the corruption has little to no chance at corrupting boyfriend because he has girlfriend to motivate him. the battle between boyfriend and soul boyfriend was basically the climax of this whole entire corruption series. After that, girlfriend is starting to get saved by boyfriend, as you can see in this song. Once that happens, maybe pico will get saved, and maybe daddy dearest, and other corrupted people in friday night funkin. Oh and one more thing, now that boyfriend has broke out, he basically gained immunity to the corruption and the only way to stop boyfriend was to make him give up. Even when he was giving up, Soul BF was there to spark up boyfriends hope again, and save girlfriend once and for all.
@@kamekazexy5015 The one that dies might be Pico. He pulled his gun on himself just before getting Corrupted, as implied by one of his sprites and that splatter on his head. Assuming that taking the shot actually worked, the Corruption might be the only thing keeping Pico physically alive, and once it's gone, so will he be.

I honestly feel like his kill switch just activated then and there and he was thinking about/resisting the urge to start physically attacking gf. Just a theory tho. I love shit like that. When you realize that that the "days" in FNF are actually on a weekly basis, meaning that BF has been fighting for *a week straight* to try to uncorrupt GF. If that is not dedication, I'm not sure what is.
From what I'm aware of every week takes place on Friday and then the three songs happened back to back. They're also happen weekly unless indicated otherwise.
I love how soul bf showed up in the mind section of the song to keep on encouraging bf... kinda like how when you get a sickness, once it's gone it's much harder to get, or in other words... a vaccine.
Oh damn, this song gives me neuroses vibes And its interesting that when GF recorrupts, BF becomes sad and distressful at first, but he covers his ears and regains his smile to prevent the corruption from taking over him (in other words, not letting his guard down) just like what it did to Pico, DD, and Mom. He even has aid from Soul bf for the last time and gets motivated once again. Edit: So apparently GF didn't actually recorrupt, she made BF hallucinate into thinking she did, and BF still kept his cool, because he knows its a trick Another nice detail is that when GF recorrupts, the healthbar is manipulated to her favor until BF gets aid from Soul BF
This also shows the other side of bf that hes not only dumb but also a smart kid that knows how to not get fooled and giving up by a corrupted person that tries to recorrupt him
I don't think she was actually recorrupted. I think that was a trick by the corruption itself to get BF to let up. Or if was real and not a trick, it was its final attempt to recorrupt her and beat BF. Clearly the corruption didn't Expect Soul to step in again.

I absolutely love the end of this song! Girlfriend rising up before the shadow of the wings makes her look like some sort of "Angel of Darkness". Amazing work as always, Phantom! Edit: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how you can literally tell that the corruption is not holding back anymore; and I'm not saying so because this is near (what's safe to assume) the conclusion of the story. This is the first time the Corruption has materialized as something physical that's not just a darkness spreading across the infected's body; it has formed tentacles behind Girlfriend. And not only that, this is the first time it tries to *physically harm* someone. In the rest of its encounters the corruption tries to take over the victim, but in day 1 she tried to hurt boyfriend with them. It's also causing boyfriend to hallucinate so he will lose hope; and you can see it works, no matter how hard boyfriend tries to tune it out.
As a person who has been a huge fan of corruption mod for months, this was beautiful… Bf just was loosing his sanity and going insane and was on the verge of giving up and soul bf made a return! Loved that moment.. can’t wait for more!!! ^^

As the Corruption grows thinner, Boyfriend’s cockiness gets the better of him. He believes he can’t win. However, HE made a promise. HE would be with Boyfriend every step of the way. Now both sides are powering up, as this tale will soon end, one way or the other.
This day is just connects with my life for some reason like the lose of motivation and gaining hope ik it sounds cringe but this is something that motivates me when I get to the lowest points in life where I think I can't keep going. It's weird and maybe childish but I like the concept of gaining hope at points which seem hopeless as an Undertale fan, I'm not foreign to these concepts as it is a part of the fandom. I feel really overwhelmed with life everytime I think I can't do something I imagine this song particularly the part 3:05-3:55.
There's a lot I want to say, But first and foremost/most importantly, We very rarely get Songs between Boyfriend and Girlfriend, Especially with such a tense atmosphere to the Songs themselves, I think this Mod and vs Trollge Girlfriend are probably the ONLY examples out there of Songs like this, But I really love just how tragic and emotional they are. And next off, It's actually kind of crazy how I was starting to miss the Corruption Mod thinking "I wonder when Phantom Fear is going to Upload next?" And then he Uploads like the next Day, That is an amazing coincidence, But I love it nonetheless! Finally on to the fight itself, Really dig the way you've made Evil Girlfriend act like how "Real" Mermaids do in legend, They sing sweet songs to sap the life force away from people that listen to them, And here it would work doubly because Boyfriend loves Girlfriend so much, He's like constantly fighting between his love for Girlfriend and the need to try and fight her to save her, And him being an idiot makes it really hard to do the latter. Soul Boyfriend proving to be Boyfriend's "Immunity" to the Corruption is once again a nice touch, I figured he probably would be immune to it's influence, But I like how you made it so he needs to actually THINK about it in order for it too happen, And Boyfriend being an idiot makes it "Once again" hard for him to think properly. He's essentially a VERY stupid Hero at this point, Someone who has the ability to defeat Evil, But too stupid to actually do it 99% of the time, It's such a great dynamic to give too Boyfriend lmao Absolutely loved the Song, The unique Animations for the Song, The fact you used OG Girlfriend's Vocals instead of Lullaby's, And the fact that Evil Girlfriend is going to be forced to try and kill Boyfriend now in the next Song, Because she can't Corrupt him anymore. I CAN'T WAIT for the next Song! o/
This is Really Interesting and makes BF feel much more alive (even though he already felt pretty alive in Soul BF and CGF's Weeks), we really need more BFs like The Trollge Files and this mod rather than "haha i will beat this guy in a rap battle". Amazing Comment!

here we have bf in his fighting mode, the first song he had against his own gf wouldve gotten him killed if he didnt realise sooner but now the battle is now coming to a steady save instead
I hope by the end of the third part (vs corrupt gf) It ends with bf hugging gf as a last effort and it knocks off the remaining control of the corruption, freeing her.
It's interesting, Day 3 is referred to as the 'final battle.' It could just be that it's the final battle to save GF, but it could also be the final battle against the Corruption as a whole, as after this, the Corruption is plain and simply *fucked.* Its two greatest weapons have turned against it, and now its influence is fading. Now, let's finish this!
I dunno if it's just me, but I'm definitely hearing some motifs around the song Something that reminds me of neuroses, right before the shift into bf's mind, sounds like he takes a tune right out of atrocity, and the most clear was ofc the saster motif finishing the whole song off Gorgeous!
i like how in the down note animation gf has hearts in her eyes instead of circles. i like to think of this as either: even though shes corrupted, gf recognises that shes singing with bf or the corruption is trying to manipulate bf into lowering his guard

This really does show that whatever's corrupting GF is definitely putting up a fight this time around. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the corruption is starting to get a little desperate with how hard it's looking to put BF down now. Loved how Soul is still with BF making sure he doesn't fall after how far he's come. Soul BF truly an MVP here.
It's probably because it wasn't expecting its biggest threat to escape captivity. That it would win in the end.... but now it's got to fight for survival against the only one that can beat it.

I think it's on its last legs. It's trying to look like BF has no shot when in reality BF giving it his all is slowly but surely breaking the corruption. It knows it's losing this fight and is desperate to break BF.
It tried to make BF hallucinate and make him believe his efforts were in vain, he wasn't making any progress and the corruption was winning when in reality he's getting close. That's why Soul stepped in. BF CAN do this. He just needs a little extra help to keep him in the game long enough to win. That's what Soul is. That extra push.

One thing that sets this mod apart from a lot of the others is it tells a story through the visuals in the songs itself for the most part. This is what I found originally appealing about the original game. Sure there wasn’t much to that, but your imagination could fill in the gaps. This takes that to the next level.

Prior to 3:16 you'll notice that there are little motes that emit from BF and get absorbed by Evil GF. It's safe to assume that this is his sanity, and now that it's weakened the Corruption can freely infiltrate BF's mind. Another interesting thing is that the static in Soul BF's part as it could be a possible reference to the massive screen in the background of Soul BF's Week. We could be taking the Corruption's perspective and realising that recorrupting BF is next to impossible as he has Soul BF on his side. Shortly after we'd be kicked out of BF's mind after he's motivated again and he gains a massive morale boost.

I think the corruption is truly pulling out all the stops here because it knows, if GF is brought back to BF, he’ll never lose. GF is all he needs to motivate him, so if GF is back with him, the corruption has basically lost.

Hell maybe the two of them might be used as the last people to sing against him along side bf to bring him back.

It’s interesting to note that even though BF was losing in the middle of the song, it was not represented via the signature black goo of the corruption covering his body. I think that BF might have actually gained immunity to the corruption after breaking out, and the only way that the corruption can win at this point is by making him give up. In this song, the corruption played its final card, creating the illusion GF was fully corrupted again and taunting him with the messages on the walls. Luckily for the Corruption, it’s last-ditch plan somehow managed to work and BF fully gave himself up. However, only a couple of seconds after he gave up, Soul BF came to the rescue and managed to reignite BF’s hope again, and so the corruptions desperate gambit failed.
The goal here is to murder boyfriend more so to remove the last threat to the corruption

I loved the detail when BF thought he was winning, only to find out that corrupted GF is more powerful than he thought, and BF started to lose hope. But my favorite part is during BF's mind segment, you can soul BF's silhouette right behind BF fighting alongside with him, showing that soul BF is never leaving, and will always be by BF's side to end the corruption! I can't wait to see the other corrupted figures BF will have to face after he saves GF!

Admittedly when the first concept came around, I was kinda middling on the corruption idea. It felt like something people just did to be edgy, but this? This was amazing, legitimately. And one of my favorite bits was that the song never relied on gimmicks to tell its story, instead making a whole story through one continuous song. Not to mention the song itself being almost transcendent (thanks Saster), and it makes the whole thing tie into a wild-ass ride that had me surprisingly engaged throughout.
Really love how you were still able to incorporate Soul BF into this. He may not be real, but the guy knows how to throw in support for his homie, even if it is spiritually.
Man this mod gets more epic every time, and it makes you wonder what's gonna happen next, it's been a while since the last episode, but still cool that we got one today, great job guys!
Fighting corrupt gF first is like fighting the final boss first! Most of the boss fights won’t be as interesting until we see the Lemon Demon/Monster fight.
Damn. This one is truly a nail-biter. But the final battle? I'll bet that'll be the pinnacle of intensity. Best of luck, getting it finished. This series is fantastic, so far.
This fight actually shows us that bf's determination never goes down no matter how much he falls he always finds a way to continue and whatever is corrupting bf is having a hard time putting him down unlike the others because this time the corruption isn't effecting bf now

All I can and will say (would be here all night otherwise) is that this has truly been an adventure unlike any other and I love, fear, and root for this mod. Literally puts me on the edge of my seat and has also been a big help for a creation of mine which if I could bring to life with my own hands I would.
I remember when I was first playing Friday Night Funkin' Mods, Phantom came into the chat and sent me the original Skid and Pump week demo. My personal take on the corruption mod.
Soul BF said he's not real in the escape episode.
I think soul BF is kind of something akin to internal motivation like something he made up in his mind to help him do better. Soul BF is the person that regular BF wants to be.
And the corruption taking over his friends and him is actually a metaphor for him thinking his friends hate him, and he's trying to get over mental stuff to reclaim the real version of them, the ones who love him. they do care for him he just doesn't realize it yet but he wants to.
In hard times you have to try, try to find things to hang on to that make you happy and you have to keep going until you can understand your own self worth and the worth of others.
It's because you matter and even though you've done things in the past you may regret or people have done things to you, no matter what you're going through just remember.

Things were looking grim for BF, The illusion of no progress caused BF to lose the will to fight (Indicating Health Drain, Interesting). But Soul BF was still in him, helping him push through, showing that his progress was no lie. Now BF has to face GF once more, with whatever she has up her sleeve. And something tells me that this "angelic" silhouette has something to do with that.

I like how very slowly throughout this series, the corruption is starting to get more and more desperate because bf is starting to get alot harder to corrupt, and he is saving gf. this is pretty much like the corruption's last hope to corrupt bf because if gf is saved, which she probably will be, then the corruption has little to no chance at corrupting boyfriend because he has girlfriend to motivate him.
the battle between boyfriend and soul boyfriend was basically the climax of this whole entire corruption series. After that, girlfriend is starting to get saved by boyfriend, as you can see in this song. Once that happens, maybe pico will get saved, and maybe daddy dearest, and other corrupted people in friday night funkin.
Oh and one more thing, now that boyfriend has broke out, he basically gained immunity to the corruption and the only way to stop boyfriend was to make him give up. Even when he was giving up, Soul BF was there to spark up boyfriends hope again, and save girlfriend once and for all.
I will expect a twist like one of them will not survive the corruption and be killed either inside the corruption or after saving from the corruption.

Assuming that taking the shot actually worked, the Corruption might be the only thing keeping Pico physically alive, and once it's gone, so will he be.

When you realize that that the "days" in FNF are actually on a weekly basis, meaning that BF has been fighting for *a week straight* to try to uncorrupt GF.

From what I'm aware of every week takes place on Friday and then the three songs happened back to back. They're also happen weekly unless indicated otherwise.
I love how soul bf showed up in the mind section of the song to keep on encouraging bf... kinda like how when you get a sickness, once it's gone it's much harder to get, or in other words... a vaccine.

And its interesting that when GF recorrupts, BF becomes sad and distressful at first, but he covers his ears and regains his smile to prevent the corruption from taking over him (in other words, not letting his guard down) just like what it did to Pico, DD, and Mom. Edit: So apparently GF didn't actually recorrupt, she made BF hallucinate into thinking she did, and BF still kept his cool, because he knows its a trick

I absolutely love the end of this song! Girlfriend rising up before the shadow of the wings makes her look like some sort of "Angel of Darkness". Amazing work as always, Phantom!
Edit: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how you can literally tell that the corruption is not holding back anymore; and I'm not saying so because this is near (what's safe to assume) the conclusion of the story. This is the first time the Corruption has materialized as something physical that's not just a darkness spreading across the infected's body; it has formed tentacles behind Girlfriend. And not only that, this is the first time it tries to *physically harm* someone. In the rest of its encounters the corruption tries to take over the victim, but in day 1 she tried to hurt boyfriend with them. It's also causing boyfriend to hallucinate so he will lose hope; and you can see it works, no matter how hard boyfriend tries to tune it out.

As a person who has been a huge fan of corruption mod for months, this was beautiful… Bf just was loosing his sanity and going insane and was on the verge of giving up and soul bf made a return! Loved that moment.. can’t wait for more!!! ^^

As the Corruption grows thinner, Boyfriend’s cockiness gets the better of him. He believes he can’t win. However, HE made a promise. HE would be with Boyfriend every step of the way. Now both sides are powering up, as this tale will soon end, one way or the other.

This day is just connects with my life for some reason like the lose of motivation and gaining hope ik it sounds cringe but this is something that motivates me when I get to the lowest points in life where I think I can't keep going. It's weird and maybe childish but I like the concept of gaining hope at points which seem hopeless as an Undertale fan, I'm not foreign to these concepts as it is a part of the fandom. I feel really overwhelmed with life everytime I think I can't do something I imagine this song particularly the part 3:05-3:55.

There's a lot I want to say, But first and foremost/most importantly, We very rarely get Songs between Boyfriend and Girlfriend, Especially with such a tense atmosphere to the Songs themselves, I think this Mod and vs Trollge Girlfriend are probably the ONLY examples out there of Songs like this, But I really love just how tragic and emotional they are.
And next off, It's actually kind of crazy how I was starting to miss the Corruption Mod thinking "I wonder when Phantom Fear is going to Upload next?" And then he Uploads like the next Day, That is an amazing coincidence, But I love it nonetheless!
Finally on to the fight itself, Really dig the way you've made Evil Girlfriend act like how "Real" Mermaids do in legend, They sing sweet songs to sap the life force away from people that listen to them, And here it would work doubly because Boyfriend loves Girlfriend so much, He's like constantly fighting between his love for Girlfriend and the need to try and fight her to save her, And him being an idiot makes it really hard to do the latter.
Soul Boyfriend proving to be Boyfriend's "Immunity" to the Corruption is once again a nice touch, I figured he probably would be immune to it's influence, But I like how you made it so he needs to actually THINK about it in order for it too happen, And Boyfriend being an idiot makes it "Once again" hard for him to think properly.
He's essentially a VERY stupid Hero at this point, Someone who has the ability to defeat Evil, But too stupid to actually do it 99% of the time, It's such a great dynamic to give too Boyfriend lmao
Absolutely loved the Song, The unique Animations for the Song, The fact you used OG Girlfriend's Vocals instead of Lullaby's, And the fact that Evil Girlfriend is going to be forced to try and kill Boyfriend now in the next Song, Because she can't Corrupt him anymore.

It's interesting, Day 3 is referred to as the 'final battle.' It could just be that it's the final battle to save GF, but it could also be the final battle against the Corruption as a whole, as after this, the Corruption is plain and simply *fucked.* Its two greatest weapons have turned against it, and now its influence is fading.
