I would actually be so happy if you started posting more videos like this because honestly I think I definitely could use some inspiration for pieces to play for fun, instead of constantly working on grade pieces. I think I could use a break from them 😂😅 Great videos and great tips! ❤
You inspired me to learn more about playing. Two years ago after moving across country 1200 miles, I couldn’t remember where I put it. Finally looking for something else I found it and my old piccolo. I couldn’t even remember the brand other than it was an open hole flute and mouthpiece has gold. It looks so tarnished and I don’t remember where my cleaning cloth could be or the cloth cover for the case! Now to find my music book and scales.
Thanks for the video! Would you mind sharing how to record playing the flute at home? Do you use a mic and if so which one, and any set up tips? Thanks so much!!
I am addicted to this piece right now. Do you play etudes from book 1 of Melodious and Progressive Studies? I would love to hear etude 2 by Kohler on page 20. (I may have written that wrong so forgive me.)
Hi Katie, I am a 15 yo German girl and play the fute for about 9 years now... I have my own flute since I started that’s why it’s time for a new one now. I played the Yamaha 312 and was super happy with it. I feel kinda insecure now and am not so sure which one is the best for me😔... BUT I think I want to have a Yamaha flute as my next one too. Maybe one of the 500 or 600 series ☺️. Maybe you could give me some advice?❤️ I am playing a very nice song right now for Jugend Musiziert (a competition), it is called Scherzo by Milko Kolarov... My Bulgarian teacher gave it to me ☺️
You sound nice 😉 No, I think you worked good on your sound .. (continue the good work..) 🤩 I also want to play that! xD (it’s a compliment) About the extra sound, I think you have to describe how your sound is going to be in a particular piece, but ask your teacher! 🤗
What type of dog do you have? I played trombone in high school and a little bit in junior college. I discovered your channel some time ago. You are very talented!
Omg bringing me back to my college flute days. Had to play these all the time....
